My family and I are delighted with the personal care provided to our Mum. From the manager to the carers, they are without exception compassionate, caring, tender, patient and discrete. The ladies are all lovely. We are very grateful. A true Godsend. Thank you all 🙏🏼

Cannot thank the staff enough for their support for our mum, particularly after her recent hospital stay. Nothing is too much trouble including changing visit times and ensuring she had carers she knew well. Their patience and flexibility are commendable. We would highly recommend them.

We’ve used a few different care companies for my elderly grandad, but Horizons Homecare has been the best by far. They always turn up on time, and my grandad really looks forward to seeing his little team each day. He’s built such a lovely relationship with them, and it’s made a huge difference to his confidence and happiness. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I use the new Horizons Homecare Lancaster and Morecambe branch and the Blackpool office to care for my father in law. They used a local company before and since they have been using horizons their care has been amazing. All of the carers are genuine and lovely and they all really seem to care. They have introduced us to a few social clubs and they actually have a better social life than me now. I cannot put into words how much horizons have helped us in the short time they have cared for us and at first I was dubious to say the least but to see them genuinely happy it has taken all the weight of mine and Pete's shoulders. Everyone should use them and another positive is that they were quite a lot cheaper than the other 2 we have used in the past.

My family used Horizons Home Care at the end of 2024 - beginning of 2025 to sort personal care for my Nana who was sadly coming to the end of her life.

Whilst my Nana was fully compus mentis until her final few days she required a decent level of care and Horizons didn’t disappoint.

Having worked for a care company myself many years ago I can honestly say that Horizons are a level above of any care company who I have come into contact with before.

Time keeping was on point, professionalism was second to none but more importantly empathy and actual care was simply outstanding, no matter what the task!

In my nanas last few hours Horizons came to see to her. The girls were incredible and made my Nana decent and clean ready for when she passed away a couple of hours later. Not a nice task to do for anyone but the girls did it without and hesitation and did so with respect and courtesy.

I simply can not thank Horizons enough. Without a shadow of a doubt the best care company within the North West of England and helped my Nana through the end of her life. There is simply no one else I would recommend!

We can’t thank horizon care enough. They looked after my nana in the final months of her life. It started as one visit per day in the morning. James came to have an initial visit with my nan to introduce himself and their service and to actually get to know my nana and build a relationship. My nan was never one to accept care easily but it came to the point it needed to be done. My nan always said how lovely, kind and caring the carers were especially Tina. I know it sounds crazy but these carers actually care, which sometimes you don’t get but you can tell these carers have been so well trained but also beautiful hand picked. Care is not something you can teach but these ladies were just so compasionate and caring for my nana. Towards the end of my nanas life we needed to increase my nanas package urgently to 4 times a day and 2 carers each visit which isn’t something that is easily done so quickly. James made sure this happened. He did everything he could to meet my nans needs. James always called/ communicated any updates/ concerns with my nana that the carers had. The carers also left notes for us if needed or even called us themselves. They went above and be for my nana she built such a good relationship with them. James made sure he kept the same few carers going into my nan so she could build a relationship with them. I am a nurse myself so I know when care is good and I know what I’m looking for and could not fault them in anyway shape or form. I can’t thank horizon and their team for what they did for not only my nan but for us as a family too. My beautiful nan passed away at home surrounded by her family. She was clean, comfortable and at peace Thankyou to horizon. I know my nana would also thank you with all her heart for being so kind, gentle, professional, compassionate and caring.

Horizon’s Homecare look after my dad and what an amazing job they do. The carers are not just carers they are family and nothing is ever too much. With my dad having Dementia they have to go on his journey and they make it so much fun for him. Horizons are just a phone call away not just for my dad but for us as a family, they are great in signposting us and have even attended meetings for moral support. Horizons Homecare just go up and beyond for us all and I don’t know what we would do without them.

Care for a loved one is important. I have spoken to Horizons Homecare a few times to enquire about services offered, prices and availability for a dear friend who I help in life, but needs that extra helping hand.

Sadly, or thankfully they are fiercly independent and too loyal to the existing care company provided by the LOcal Council, despite the frequent comments of dislike for them.

Horizons Homecare really care, it comes across when talking to them and I really wish my friend reconsiders the care company she uses. I would not hesitate in using Horizons.

Excellent standard of care received, carers matched to father-in-law's personality and interests so made them feel more like friends than actual caregivers. Would highly recommend it if you want amazing and personable care/ help or even companionship.

I have used horizons homecare for a few weeks now and I am very impressed. All the staff are absolutely amazing I couldn't ask for anything better from them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is in need of any kind of care.

We have used Horizons Homecare for 6 months now and have never been so happy with a care company. We will 100% recommend them to everyone we meet because they have been that good to us. They have helped us in more ways than I can write, from last minute changes to support in finding the right hotels for family to stay at. Bunch of diamonds.
