Used to be good

I have had great experience with hongkongeek in the past, but i ordered €500 of customs in January 2018 and the website died just after.
I never recieved the customs and never got my money back.
Actually i have no idea where to ask to be refunded...

I strongly advise against …

I strongly advise against making purchases on this website. They cash your money and then nothing. You don't receive the purchased product, you write to them twice, three times ... they don't even answer you. After 2 months and 4 unanswered messages I throw in the towel, they won. They are scrammers, shabby, low-income because really for 116 Euros ??? Lamentable.

8 days, 3 e-mails about VAT/Customs charges, and still no response. Do not trust their promise about refunding customs charges.

In spite of what HONGKONGEEK.com promises about repaying customs charges should they occur, in my case at least it has proven to be untrue. The customs charges only arose because the amount they declared on the package was higher than the actual order price anyway, because I made sure to stay within the taxable limit, so as not to end up having to pay import charges, as the initial administration fee is usually more than the tax anyway. They have simply not responded to any of the 3 e-mails I have written about it, so now I have to wait for the package to be rejected by the post office as unclaimed, and start a case with PayPal, or time will run out and I will just lose my money. Really shoddy service.

On top of that, their tracking system doesn't work properly either - it takes 10 days before the order shows up online, not the 72 hours they claim in their dispatch notice, and then nothing happens for another 10 days or so. Would definitely not recommend this site to a friend or family member.

HKGeek could not fulfil order request and left order permanently unfixed.

- As the title suggests, they left the order permanently at the "preparation in progress stage". Customer service is not responsive after they arrive at problem.

- Even after explicitly asking for a refund of an order that has not even been shipped, they ignore. My guess is they are waiting for the transaction window to end, thus, not be obligated to refund the transaction.

- Prices on the website are inaccurate and continue to fluctuate - they might ask for more money then the price listed on the website.

They want me to pay more money.

Just today i bought a Smartphone vkworld VK6050 Android 5.1 (white, 1g-16g) at Hongkongeek.
I paid 62 euros through PayPal and I received the Hongkongeek invoice #IN073208 de 2015-07-24, 61 euros the Smartphone and 1 euro for a micro usb-otg cable.
Some hours after paying Hongkongeek they sent me an email asking for some other 74 euros more for the smartphone i already had bought, stating that the price of the smartphone is of 135 euros and that by mistake they had put a wrong price for it on their website.
I think that even if they made a mistake, the phone is already mine being as i had already bought it as it appears on the bill.
Eventhough i feel dissapointed i know that trying to stake my claim 15.000 Km. away it's unrealistic so i would be content getting my money back immediatly.
I'll let you know what thing's lead up to.
Josep.

Aftersale services are the worst over the online sellers.

The aftersale service of this seller is the worst online and i think over the world. I'm asking how they are still open. I'm telling all my friends to NOT buy from this company. I give One Star, because here don't have -5 star, because they deserve this. i'm waitng more than two months for a return of a product in warranty, and they tell me they are still repairing this item... they are only taking time, and they don't want to refund me. They Steal my money. This is my opinion.
