Problems with stories and subscriptions
The stories are good but having to pay a subscription and then not having acces to most stories is a bit offputting and then finding out that the subscription will automatically renew and having to contact them by mail wasn’t the best. I tried contacting aswell, it’s been 3 days and haven’t heard back.

I already cancelled my subscription a long time ago. But suddenly they charged me 52. I contacted service assistants. They gave me different emails card numbers apple pay digits. That was not mine. And at the last they didn't have anyhting to ask, they stopped responding. They are forcing me to write a report to police. Because it is not my fault if your system charges incorrectly

I do not recommend Honeytoons.
The biggest issue is that the product is not advertised honestly. Their advertisements on social media make it look like you’re subscribing to watch animated videos and episodes. However, after paying for a subscription, I discovered that the majority of the content is actually comic books and written stories. If you want access to certain videos or premium content, you are often expected to pay additional fees on top of the subscription.
This is extremely misleading because the advertisements focus heavily on video content and do not clearly explain that much of the platform consists of comics and reading material. I subscribed expecting one thing and received something completely different.
My second issue is with their billing practices. I attempted to make a payment with one card and was told there were insufficient funds. I then used a different card, and the payment was successfully processed. Later, I discovered that money had also been taken from the original card that was supposedly declined. As a result, I was charged from two separate cards.
When I contacted customer support about the duplicate charge, they refused to issue a refund and cited company policy. While I understand that some companies have strict refund policies, it does not explain why a second payment was taken from a card that was originally reported as having insufficient funds.
To make matters worse, while I was discussing the issue with support through email, communication was suddenly cut off and I was unable to continue the conversation. That felt extremely unprofessional and left my concerns unresolved.
Overall, my experience with Honeytoons was disappointing. The advertising was misleading, the billing issue was never properly addressed, and customer service was unhelpful. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this platform to others.

It is very possible that the advertisements you saw were showcasing the exciting animated content available over on HANIMAX, rather than what is included in a Honeytoon reading subscription. Regarding the billing issue and your experience with our support team, we are genuinely sorry for the confusion. Sometimes, a card that initially declined can show a temporary pending hold that automatically drops off after a few business days, but we want to be absolutely sure you aren't paying twice. Content was okay, but they employ a shady auto-renewal subscription plan. There was no email or notification of any kind that the service was about to draw $79.99 from your account, and their customer service is entirely unhelpful. Feels like theft.
