Please excuse the length of this reply but it might help any others regarding our choice of packaging. Like other brands, we are bound by laws to ensure that our packaging is child impeding, tear resistant, transportable (even in the wet) and ready to be shipped from a warehouse. In this case Amazon house a portion of our inventory and we shipped using them.
The 'single use' plastic is a bio-degradable one. At the time, it seemed like a reasonable choice, not our perfect one, but we did so with the knowledge that more often than not after being treated with wax, cardboard is not always recyclable. After extensive research, it is absolutely part of our plan to swap our packaging with non-treated paper packaging ASAP! :)
With natural products, it is very difficult to ensure that quality standards are met across the board. All the same, we would like to apologise about that particular one. Please reach out to us to see if we can help at info@honeycombseaco.com.

Was looking at my sad plastic shower…
Was looking at my sad plastic shower puff thingy and thought I need to replace this. Decided to have a look at alternatives to plastic and found these wonderful sponges, it says they can last 2 years so brilliant all round. I got the big one and really love it.

I have very sensitive skin
I have very sensitive skin, having had eczema growing up. This sponge is so soft. The best part is that it doesn't irritate my skin! Top product.

have suffered from exhima for most of…
have suffered from exhima for most of my life, and constantly struggle to find natural cleaning products. The sea sponges are wonderful for sensitive skin like mine. The fibres are smooth over skin but ensure that dead skin gets washed away. Pleasant purchase, thanks
