Nice stay. Disappointing engagement

I did enjoyed my stay however, the appartment was not check properly. I agreed to pay more a property to have 3 bedrooms during 2 weeks to enjoy more space when parents joined us the first week. At the end 1 room was not useable due to awfull smell of moisture. My son sleep on the coach. The 2nd week he went to the 2nd room. Back to the coach due to heavy works behind the wall from 8pm… no consideration, no goodwill refund, … just a Sorry. Hate that. ( deposit still not refund after a week)

Never again!

Like others we had a lot of (and severe) problems (eg hygiene, electricity, heating, false advertising etc) in our house and stay and we cant recommend renting from them or trusting their listings.

Only after timeconsuming long and exhausting insisting we came to a refund which was acceptable.

This agency is dishonest, unprofessional and does not take care of the object.

Terrible

Terrible, extremely irresponsible and unprofessional, we set up an appointment for my husband to travel from the USA to Marbella to see a property, after all the expense and arriving to Marbella, the same day of the schedule appointment, they simply sent a text to say the apartment was no longer available, We dealt with Sandra the entire time sending all kinds of documents for absolutely nothing, do not use these people, they will leave you stranded.

A wonderful experience with Homewatch

I stayed with my family in a beautiful villa managed by Homewatch, and the experience couldn’t have been better. From the very beginning, the service was excellent!! friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.

They gave us great recommendations to enjoy the area, especially La Cala de Mijas, which is an absolutely stunning place. Thanks to their tips, we discovered unique spots and had an unforgettable stay.

I would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

I recently rented a property in Marbella

I recently rented a property in Marbella through Homewatch for a long weekend with girlfriends. When we arrived, the property was locked and we were unable to gain access. We phoned the Homewatch office and were told someone would come eventually to let us in and in the meantime, we should try to climb over the gate! Having waited for more than an hour, with bags of groceries perishing in the sun, my friend scaled the fence and we managed to gain entry. The burglar alarm then started ringing!
Once inside the property we were very disappointed with the level of cleanliness. A lady from Homewatch did eventually turn up at the house and whilst she was very apologetic and pleasant, she was unable to offer any sort of compensation for the inconvenience until she could reach her supervisor.
It took 24 hours before they agreed to a monetary recompense.
Unfortunately, Homewatch did not honour the agreed amount, falling short by £120. Furthermore, they did not fully refund the deposit I paid which fell short by £30. Despite numerous conversations and correspondence, we still have not been fully reimbursed.
We will not book through Homewatch again

WARNING to all people who want to rent with Homewatch

WARNING to all people who want to rent via this agency.
They will try and scam you in many ways possible.

They will ask you for a cash deposit which i am still to this day waiting for.
Secondly one of their employees will ask you to meet him at a cash point for another cash deposit which they will steal (1000 euros) police has been informed and complaint filed against the company.

Another way they will try and scam you is message you asking to transfer money to their private bank accounts because of an emergency. (photos attached on google review)

They will even ask you if you need another property after to send them 300 euros to their personal bank account. (photos attached on google review)

The police have been involved and the agency refuses to say anything and just drag it on for weeks. They will be taken to court.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CASH!

So please to everyone thinking of renting with them you have been warned!

Awful company we used them to rent our…

Awful company we used them to rent our apartment. Their tenant trashed our property and when neighbours complained they didn’t take any action. Our property was damaged and Homewatch did NOT care. We are left with the damage I would not recommend anyone use this company and in particular found several of the contacts there rude and difficult. They also seem to have a very high turnover of staff with people leaving. Stay away!!

Rude and unprofessional

Hi, I was rudely treated by a Homewatch who was a host in one of listed property on AirBnBin Marbella. I was contacted after having booked the house for over 1.5 months (1400EUR for 4 nights) with an information that there is a road work being done at the front of property (which by the way didn’t look like started recently) and it looked like there is no pedestrian access and parking space. Charlie said that the condition of the road is as in the attached picture, when I replied that the picture was missing and if he could resend it, he told me that the picture will come in the next email and that “ I didn’t give him 2 minutes to attach it” which i found a very odd response. Than it went downhill from there, the guy was easily triggered, he didn’t give me any response about the accessibility and accused me of lying putting in the stay 3 dogs when they only allow one. How would it be possible not even sure, I got a confirmation on the day 1 that it is confirmed for 2 adults in 3 dogs and got it in the email confirming it. At the end I head to reach out to the AirBnB customer service to find out the status of my booking and eventually cancelling, which 2 weeks before arrival is not perfect and I wasn’t even sure I want to cancel, but I wasn’t given much information about the accessibility. I would never use the Homewatch again, nor recommend it to anyone, I also skip properties managed by Homewatch.es on Airbnb and booking.com
