Excellent - Central Heating problem solved

Hing (the Plumber) was very professional and did everything that was required, I have not used "Home Solutions from John Lewis" before but I would definitely use them again.

Booking system a bit clunky but the electrician was great and did a really good job.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how excellent this service is. After booking online, someone called within a couple of hours and came round to inspect the next day and then the job was completed a week later. The team were friendly and professional, getting on quickly and finishing on time, tidying up after they had finished.

Surprisingly easy to book, resulting in a date & (approx) time for installation to be done. Phone call from electrician (Jason - Brunel Electrical) in morning to arrange more accurate time of arrival & check a few points before he arrived - What a good idea - He arrived as arranged, worked thoroughly & methodically ensuring that everything was working ok before he left. Even cleared up all his mess. Would certainly use again & wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Very poor service. Estimated £100 to fix a broken shower, then on looking at it said it was “too much hassle” to repair and would only offer a replacement shower for £350. On declining this price as it was too expensive for me I was then charged the £100 estimate. No work was started our carried out, the tradesperson came to the house for no more than 10 minutes. A floored system that does not have the customer in mind, would not recommended at all.

I was able to book on line easily, it was confirmed by e-mail and txt. Sean arrived on the day who was exceptional, he serviced the boiler as I have Never seen it serviced before by British Gas who serviced the boiler for 20 years. He was very knowledgable on boiler issues, he was very professional. He checked and rechecked and completed the job to a very high standard.
I would recommend him to any one and every one.

I was told before paying for a quote that JLS ensure all quotes are competitive.
I had seven doors to hang local quotes ranged from £65 to £90 per door.
JLS came back at £131 per door.
I have been charged £30 for a quote that is not at all competitive.
I don't know what happened to never knowingly undersold

I had been looking for an electrician who would not only turn up and quote but then actually turn up for the job. I was so pleased to find John Lewis Home Solutions because I didn't have to worry about waiting for a phone call, the company is a proper business with professional employees. David was the most friendly and informed electrician I have ever met and we were given certificates after the job was completed (which only took a couple of hours). I would recommend him and Home Solutions to anyone - a Godsend when doing home improvements or just ordinary jobs.

I was recommended Home Solutions for a boiler service and was not disappointed- easy to use website,very efficient customer service and Alex made a brilliant job of servicing and identifying the problem after I had a shocking experience recently from another plumber.A second visit within hours with the necessary part and I'm now up and running, knowing that a great job has been done.
