Lee was able to attend earlier than planned and carried out a very thorough inspection of our new house. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The purpose is definitely worth spending the money to have done and by using Homesnag we found very easy to arrange. Defects were found that we wouldn’t have known about. The report was received within the timeframe and was very detailed and easy to understand. We can fully recommend Homesnag to anyone buying a new house

Being a busy single female I wanted to entrust a home inspection to a company with experience which wouldn’t let me down. This company held my hand all the way through and for that I am very grateful. The builder accepted the list as has nearly completed all the snags. I have the list to verify once I am in that the work is completed so the best money I have spent. Use this company to complete competes since list with photographic evidence detailing all the issues. It’s something you can’t afford not to do . 👍

We booked Homesnag for a post completion snagging survey including the thermal heat loss survey. Matthew our surveyor conducted an extremely thorough inspection of the property and took the time to highlight and explain issues identified. All types of issue were identified from very small to quite significant and where appropriate they were referenced against the relevant NHBC standard placing us in a strong position to discuss items with our builder. I would definitely recommend Homesnag and Matthew for anyone buying a new property and the results more than justify the survey cost

We were very pleased with the pre completion inspection carried out by Carl Joseph. We found his report appropriately detailed and he made himself available for a follow up call where he was able to answer our remaining queries. Would definitely recommend.

Our inspector was brilliant- he searched the whole property from top to bottom and made a comprehensive report to show the home builders. Thankfully there was nothing serious in the report but I think the peace of mind it gave me was amazing. Carl had a very personal approach and sympathetic attitude which made it a very good experience. He did the report on the same day to use in time for my customer service visit.

Absolutely fantastic. I instructed Homesnag to conduct a snagging report on the property I have just purchased in County Durham, communication was excellent from the start. The survey was carried out really quickly. I had the report the same day it was carried out.
I regard myself as being quite good at snagging as I'm a tradesman, however Daryl from homesnag spotted snags I wouldn't have dreamed of. Daryl is extremely professional & very helpful. He arrived on time & explained everything & just got on with it, when he was finished he explained what was found in great detail.
The report is very comprehensive & has the NHBC tolerance's making it very difficult for the builder not to complete the snags or correct poor quality workmanship.
You pay a lot of money for your property & in my opinion it is complete madness not to have a snagging survey carried out.

Matthew came out to snag our new build home. Everything about this service was first class. We could no recommend HomeSnag enough, if you have brought a new build home, you need to use them! Matthew was very knowledgeable on new build homes and building regulations. He took him time to produce an excellent snag report that was clearly presented, easy to understand and in a document we could easily forward on to our builder. The attention to detail was excellent, we thought we had identified a lot of snags ourselves but Matthew identified many more, that we would never have noticed.

Matthew did a thorough inspection and sent the report on the same day, he also took time explaining the issues and answered all our questions.

Matthew recently carried out a pre-completion snagging inspection for my new build property in Basingstoke and did an excellent job. He identified numerous issues that I would never have spotted myself and explained everything clearly and patiently. His attention to detail and professional approach were outstanding. I would highly recommend Matthew to anyone purchasing a new-build home.

We managed to book a pre completion inspection for the next day as we were rapidly approaching the completion. Matthew did a fantastic job surveying the property and issued the report within the same day, which was incredibly useful. He was very knowledgeable and explained the issues with the house in detail. All our requests were accommodated, such as a next day appointment, pretty much an instant report and friendly service. Very happy!

We had a really good experience with Homesnag. Matthew spent four hours surveying our three-bed, and spotted some things that we would never have noticed ourselves. He was friendly and professional, and we really appreciated the way he talked us through all the snags he found to ensure we understood them. It's always nice to hear that your house is the best the surveyor has seen so far this year (though less meaningful on Jan 2nd)!

Used Homesnag 8 years ago after having far too many issues with our housebuilder. Glad we did if not we could have had a fatal incident as many safety rules were breached. We moved into another new home last month and although Homesnag didnt cover our area we kindly asked if they would. For a small extra travelling cost they managed to fit us in. The surveyor was a wonderful person and produced an exceptionally professional service. Timely report was produced and forwarded onto the house builder who have also commented its the best report theyve ever seen.

Great service and very professional, would definitely recommend. Marius did a great job creating a snag report for our new build home. Everything was well documented and clearly explained, he spotted things we would never have noticed but definitely needed to be resolved.

Picked up all sorts of snags I would never have noticed. The report was detailed and thorough, and it came through quickly. The surveyor (I believe his name was Marius) got back to me promptly to clarify my questions. I would definitely recommend this service for a new build. It’s reassuring to have an expert fighting your corner. Worth every penny.
