Well I be immensely happy if all that I have heard lately is the truth about this platform
Good evening sir please I will like to work with you in trading i have 3 years experience
Looking into this for me and my partner, wish we considered it 10 years ago to be honest.
Would recommend they helped me list my home before I moved. Smooth and easy and helped sell my house faster.
I sold my home in Hamden in Delaware County, NY through Homelister. Possessing the expertise of a licensed listing agent, the process was easy for me, but Homelister optionally fills gaps such as arranging property photos even if a seller is not positioned to manage all aspects of the selling process without assistance. Homelister is used less than traditional brokerage firms possibly because sellers are convinced they need more infrastructure. They really don't. It takes some time but it's worth it. I appreciated the help of Homelister's customer service manager, Linda, who intervened in the beginning to ensure top-flight customer service. Towards the end customer service lost some vigor, but traditional firms rarely provide anything close to "full service." Homelister is prescient and proactive in tapping into the need for and offering an alternative to the inequitable commissions that sellers pay when using traditional real estate firms. Should I buy and then sell again, I plan to use Homelister again and recommend it. It's a no-brainer that paying less than a 6% real estate commission is preferable than this inordinate percentage of the sale price. It's not a given that asking prices have 6% commissions baked into them; the 6% fee paid by a seller simply reduces the seller's proceeds, half of which loss goes to a buyer's agent who works at odds with the seller's interests. In my case, I provided services to the buyer that the buyer's agents needed to provide, plus I paid the buyer's commission. These days with all the public real estate platforms available, the buyer is conducting searches and finds properties of interest themselves more often than not and calls an agent to set up a viewing, rather than the buyer's agent doing a comprehensive search and sending the buyer listings. My buyer found my property from the listing that Homelister launched. Homelister's reasonable flat fees make the commission more equitable for the seller. I think the buyer should pay the buyer's commission since they're the one being served. I did experience my buyer's broker communicating with homelister and he should have been ignored by Homelister as his interference was improper. He felt since there isn't a "traditional" listing agent that he should work directly with Homelister. I was 100% the listing agent. Buyer's agents don't understand this. Homelister provides the seller a portal to enable the seller to put out what the traditional listing agent puts out directly on the MLS and after editing and acceptance the portal content feeds it to an MLS. The interference of the buyer side was the only problem I had but I was able to manage it. On balance, I'd say mine was a 5-star experience.
Our family used the service of this company when we sold our house in California. We were completely satisfied with their work. Accompanied and helped at every stage. I can recommend this service.
It's a great experience to selling your home with Homelister. It's great to hear that the Homelister representative and real estate agent assigned to you were supportive and helpful throughout the process. It's also great that they were able to answer all of your questions and guide you through the process. It's always helpful to have a supportive team when selling a home. If you ever need to sell a home again in the future, it's good to know that you can count on Homelister and their team for assistance.
It worked as promised, except for the fact that they took the service out of my area and never offered refund. After a couple of requests for a efund of my $350.00 Ill be contacting the proper authorities.
They offered a 3rd party lockbox, after I signed all the paperwork they refunded the MLS lock box and said they weren't allowed to offer it in my area, but I would have to pay $100 to cancel my service.
For whatever reason their on platform chat doesn't notify you that you have messages so if I didn't check the platform I wouldn't know there was an issue.
At one point after 2 days of non communication, I had to find an owner by looking up public records and then texting her, just so I could get an update on my listing.
Then they cancelled my listing, but sent me a form as if I had requested the cancellation. This was so they could try and keep a $500 commission.
I am all about getting rid of the MLS, but this isn't the way to do it.
This technology and service works exactly as advertised. They got our property listed on all of the major websites like Zillow and we had multiple offers within a few weeks. The entire listing process was very easy thanks to their website and we saved tens of thousands of dollars in commissions. I would definitely use their service again.
I listed with homelister looked like a good deal until I was told there would be additional fees. After being listed for 33 days I was told they were terminating my listing the next day and I owe them $500 obviously I’m not paying it. I’d recommend homecoin I here good things.
This was our first time using HomeLister and we chose the Platinum package. Their fee vs what a commission for what an agent would be was well worth using this company-- we saved thousands.
Our account person, Sophie Proctor, was AMAZING and represented HomeLister very well. Her expertise was invaluable and we were able to rely on her all the way through the process. She was prompt with scheduling calls and meetings and communicated so well.
Ms. Proctor was completely available when we had questions or needed advice. She expertly guided us through all the steps of listing our home and helped us think through market variables as we were trying to get our house on the market at a time of year that really wasn't ideal. She listened well to our concerns. She was knowledgeable, encouraging and gave us good pointers.
She offered good advice about typical seasonal trends and helped us evaluate the current state of the housing market as she studied home sales activity in our area. She helped us with inquiries as open houses began to pick up traction and our showings increased right after the holiday season. As we got offers, she helped us navigate them. Our house was under contract in a little over 2 months-- and this was over the holidays and during the winter months!
We had several reiterations and addendums to our final contract. She was so professional with the buyers’ agent and attorneys. We always felt like we were in good hands. We couldn’t imagine navigating this process without her. She was a great ally, advocate and such a professional! Sophie Proctor is a credit to HomeLister and we highly recommend them based on our excellent experience with her.
I never dreamed that I could sell my house on my own. But having HomeLister hold my hand through the process and explain what needed to be done at every juncture was so reassuring. I saved thousands of dollars and will do this next time I sell my house.
Tip: With Smartlocks it is so easy to send a code to buyer agents to show your home. No help needed.
Had Great success!!! So easy to upload pictures I took with my Iphone and create my listing. Better than a listing agent only if your comfortable negotiating for yourself Especially if you get multiple competing offers which I did you will need to be a good negotiator. Had a great time... Got 65K more with HomeLister than a listing agent told me to sell for. So Im very happy I didnt listen to her and loose 65K and I did not have to pay Listing agent 2.5 % . I'm trilled I sold my house myself!!!!!
with HomeLister and happy. Very efficient!
This is my second time selling with homelister. The process is seamless, straightforward, and very user friendly. The customer service is great and they are responsive and helpful.
I will use them again when I sell my own personal property.
Homelister is awesome!!! I could NOT have done it without their help. I used Homelister to sell my parents' house and my own house. They were always there and very helpful in every step of the way. They made the process very easy and explained everything for me. Their fees are very reasonable!!! Thank God for Homelister!!! THANK YOU Homelister!!!!!! :)
Selling our home through HomeLister was a great decision. They were extremely helpful and friendly and helped us feel empowered in the process of selling our home. I plan to use this service again. Thank you HomeLister!!
