We were recently able to purchase our first home with the help of Andrew Mason and the team at Homefirst. I’m very grateful to Andrew and his team for the excellent service and solution focused problem solving that were a significant part of the experience with Home First in my recent property purchase.

The Home First model is innovative and has given me an opportunity as a single parent in my late 40s to buy property again in Sydney. It’s taken a while to get back on my feet and I didn’t think it would ever be possible to own property in Sydney, especially in the current market.

Home First provided various property options within my budget including several different locations, configurations and floor plans. Referrals were provided to a range of professionals including brokers, conveyancers and others who understand the model, but I also had the option of working with people in my own networks. Whilst there were a few challenges to overcome along the way, the trust level was high and Andrew was extremely patient and always focused on finding a way to make things work.

As first time home buyers home first made the process easy. It can be dauting. We never thought we would even get a 20% deposit together but we did not need a deposit that high. We got properties shortlisted and we chose what we wanted. No heavy sales tactics. I'm typing this now from our new place.
