Holster is a fraud of a company

I had a very disappointing experience with this business.

I purchased three pairs of shoes, and one pair failed after only four wears under normal use. When I contacted customer service, the response was unhelpful and dismissive.

What concerns me most is the lack of transparency around customer feedback. Based on publicly visible review platform information, not all customer reviews appear to be published, and a significant proportion of reviews are marked as unverified. I personally submitted three reviews relating to my purchases, and none of them were published, with no explanation provided.

As a result, I don’t believe customers are seeing a balanced picture of product quality or customer experiences when shopping with this brand.

Due to these concerns, I have reported the matter to Consumer Affairs Victoria. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering a purchase do their own research and compare with brands that publish a high volume of verified customer reviews.

I bought a pair of Holster Slides

I bought a pair of Holster Slides. At first they felt really comfortable, but the plastic is so hard and have cut into my toes, causing the skin to shave off, leaving me with raw, bleeding toes. Besides the bleeding toes, I wasn't going to kick them off on a dirty street, but they also just dont stay on your feet and slips off. I am so disappointed and wish I read more reviews prior. I commented on Facebook, but ni response amd the comments doesn't seem to show up on the feed!

Only positive reviews accepted by Holster AI

The MOST concerning thing about this company is they appear to use AI to ensure that only positive reviews, with at least 4 stars and only positive content, appear on their website. I've tried numerous times to submit an honest review of my experience on the Holster website. These reviews stay in pending while being checked by AI and then disappear. Here is my experience with Holster - I ordered the SkyHigh Bundle and waited too long for them to be delivered. When I sent Holster a message querying this, I received a generic AI generated response. I wasn't comfortable with this and told Holster to cancel my order and refund my money. Instead, two days later I received the shoes. Holster makes a lot of claims on their website. My experience of the Sky High wedge does not match their claims. The shoes are difficult to keep on, are not comfortable and do not help with my heel pain. Today I received an email from Holster asking me to review the shoes and receive a 10% discount on a further purchase. I emailed them my review outlining my concerns with the shoes. They advised that the shoes could be returned if UNWORN. Well, I kind of needed to wear the shoes to see if they were as Holster advertised. Naturally, Holster asked me in the same email if I wanted to purchase other shoes instead. The review I supplied them has not been put on their website and I haven't received a 10% discount. Not one of my attempts to submit an honest review on the Holster website has been successful. I feel misled and a victim of very creative AI generated marketing. BEWARE, they only post positive reviews on their website. There is no way of knowing how good, or bad, their shoes actually are.
