The property was in a good location and easy to book

Booked a short break through holiday cottages.co.uk and wasn't let down. We chose Shepherds Linhay in North Petherton, Somerset. A lovely modern one bedroom accommodation with modern amenities and a hot tub. The property is enclosed with a stock fence which was ideal for our dog to go in and out as she pleased without us worrying about her. The views around the Linhay are stunning and it is so tranquil all you could hear was the birds of prey circling above the fields.The whole booking process was simple from start to finish and we were kept updated right up until the day we arrived. The host of Shepherds Linhay, Karen was very accommodating and answered any queries we had and checked in with us along the stay to check we were comfortable or if we needed anything. Would highly recommend booking through holiday cottages.co.uk and would definitely book the Shepherds Linhay in the future.

We all had a lovely stay. Especially the scones and clotted cream tea. Plus the shortbread. A very welcoming treat.
Location ideal house was delightful.

Holiday Cottages provided accurate information about the holiday cottage we booked and it was easy to make a booking. I also contacted them by phone and they were very friendly and helpful.

We took a boat trip from the quay with an extremely knowledgable, friendly guide. Highly recommended.

Just had a great holiday at the location which is ideally placed for exploring. The swimming pool was a massive hit, as was the games room and outdoor space. Alpacas were good entertainment too!

We book through Holiday Cottages fairly often and the properties are usually of a high standard. We did have a question which their call centre wasn't very helpful for, but a direct call to the owner cleared it up.

This venerable house is light, airy and spacious. The large and comfortable living rooms are lovely areas to spend time relaxing. The kitchen is large and well equipped for big family gatherings. However, taller people need to watch their head space when both moving around the house (steps up into most rooms, with lower door clearance) and when rising from the kitchen table (with the ceiling lights). Please note that the "shower room next door" to the ground floor bedroom is difficult to access for people with mobility issues (you navigate steps up, uneven floorboards and a sloping corridor floor). There is a large space for parking. The huge back garden gives marvelous space for games and eating out. The house is situated in an excellent location for the short walk into Halesworth and enjoying the town's wonderful hospitality.

Poor customer service, we had to cancel our booking with a years notice but they still kept our deposit of £509! Cottage is now re advertised for same price so why do you keep families money?! Absolute rip off merchants, would not recommend this company.

Lovely to return again. With such good weather was able to sit in the garden. Great accommodation, spotless and equipped with everything you need. Will definitely return. Lovely welcome treats from Kate.

Greenwell Hill Barn is in an extremely beautiful position with views every direction. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable and has everything you need for your getaway. Lovely walks direct from your back door. Located in an excellent position - local villages have everything you need The whole area is clean and well kept 5*
