I have been trying to get a valuation update on the money they manage for me for five years! No one responds to me since my prior relationship manager decided to retire five years ago. It is absolutely heart wrenching that they are controlling my hard earned pension money and ignoring me for so long. I will never get to see this money and that is totally unfair and extremely sad for me. Please be careful.

Holborn Assets mis selling of Godwin Capital No. 8 Loan notes.
Holborn Assets were heavily involved in selling Godwin Capilal loan notes. They took in millions from many clients before Godwin went into receivership and the clients they sold the loan notes to lost all their money. Before investing any money with Holborn you must read the latest article by Russell Pollard published in the Derby news which outlines the whole murky business of this mis selling and Holborn Assets and their advisors part in it. From experience I can confirm much of what Russell Pollard has found out as true. Holborn Assets are not a company you should trust with your money as I have found out.

Update. Since this review I have sent 3 emails to Holborn Client Services department, something they mention in many posts an area they are proud of. I have been ignored on each and every occassion.
Holborn has ruined our lives. We trusted their qualified advice and recommendations for our life savings investment believing they had done the sufficient background checks on the companies they were advising on (they said they had in written communication) but clearly had not. All our money and many other people we are in touch with is gone. There was assurances and communications to say Godwin Capital No8 was an insured scheme backed by first legal charges and debentures, ll lies and the work of Godwin fraudsters whom Holborn Assets just believed what they were told. This is a warning, do not trust Holborn Assets with your money, you will loose it.

I would highly recommend this company and especially Guillermo Martorell. He is a brilliant professional who will provide excellent advice on your investment

WORST experience of my life. It took 2YEARS to move our money to another company and they made it so difficult. DO NOT put your money here.

Previously while I had someone to look after my money it went ‘ok’ then my financial advisor left the company, I had no one contact me, no one help or review my stuff so found another financial advisor elsewhere. Then we issues moving it and they made things so difficult for our new advisor and awkward. Finally 2 yrs later we got our money back and our new advisor has finally got it and is now making us some money!!
