I bought my Hoka oneone M Challanger…
I bought my Hoka oneone M Challanger ATR 7 few months ago costing me £140 in UK, and guess what, I have only been using they for casual wear to my office and they are already falling apart from the the top slipon section. I am really disappointed with the products , rest of the shoe is intact however the section mentioned has worned out quite quickly to my surprise. I wish I had bought some other company shoes and could have bought 2 pairs instead of one for the amount of money that I spent, I have pictures of it as well to prove. I strongly ask people to refrain from buying particular model.
It took eight months to get my refund
It took eight months to get my refund. I didn't do it alone. I had the help of Citizens Advice and the .gov service for reclaiming money.
Customer service lady, NIAMH denied me my refund five times. She cited all sorts of BS reasons, all of which contravened my rights as a UK consumer.
I especially liked the one which ended " Our decision remains unchanged, take this email as our final response"
They have now paid me. It has cost them hours of customer service time, extra fees incurred by the legal process, and they have lost me as a customer.
I am totally convinced that they believe customers won't bother arguing when they are told they can't have a refund.
Companies like this one are the reason we need The Consumer Rights Law.
I would be embarrassed to work for a company like this. The management team should be ashamed of themselves. They know what the law is, if they don't, they are in the wrong job.
If I could give negative score I would
If I could give negative score I would. This is a scam site. Paid relevant sum, no product delivered, and no response from any of their customar service communication methods.
BEWARE and do not use.
Definite scam site
Seemed fine until it refused to process a payment usingy debit card, which was odd but not in itself a huge problem, but when I used PayPal, the amount came up in USD (definitely a red flag for a supposed UK site), and the delivery fees were way higher than I would expect too. Also the 'cancel and return link' lists a random Gmail address, not a legitimate contact or site as you would expect normally. Took the item out of my basket, went to the my account section and now there seem to be 4 orders pending based on failed payment attempts. I will have to monitor my accounts and alert my bank if any payments go out to these plebs.
Avoid this site, it is clearly engaged in shady dealings at best and possibly illegal at worst.
So wish I had read the reviews before…
So wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. Shoes never received, apparently stranded at customs for the last 2 months! Now discovered they are a total scam - please do not be fooled, save your money and do not order from them.
Total Scam Stay Well Clear
Totally agree with previous comments made about this company/site total scam, gave them the benefit of the doubt for almost 2 Months, don't be deceived by the replies, by the looks of it, they've been scamming so many people that they are obviously becoming more refined... Any positive feedback will more than likely be from themselves or A.I. generated. Stay well clear from them save your time and money
Don't get fooled like me this company…
Don't get fooled like me this company is a SCAM, DO NOT buy there website looks very similar to a well known company Hoka, I ordered then found out after online reviews how terrible they are, I sent emails wanting to cancel I never ever got a reply no phone number no address, my fault, if it to true to be true something for so cheap NEVER buy from Hokaoneuk
A scam!
A scam!! I wish I didn't have to select one star!! There should be an extra box for a warning icon⚠️ I also really wish i had read the reviews, i will in future, but the website looked exactly like the Hoka website!!
I paid for my shoes, then the communications started via email, (x9 emails between myself and the company) about delivery date and why the order was being processed for over a week. Non of my questions were ever answered. Just some nonsense about they could only refund half the money, then they dont normally do refunds, despite my order not having been despatched!! My final email did not send due to no such email address??? I looked on the original email and tried to look at the tracking link.....that no longer exists!!! DO NOT touch this company with a barge pole! I am going to contact The original Hoka company a let them know what's going on.
Fake website!Looks very genuine,exactly…
Fake website!Looks very genuine, exactly like the real thing and even send tracking updates of your order. Never received the shoes.
Luckily I've claimed the money back from my bank but not happy that this website is still open for other victims. Reporting the website.
Scam company
Paid for two pairs of trainers, haven't received them, no response from them or the shipping company to my repeated emails. I'm furious!
This is definitely fake and deceptive
This is definitely fake and deceptive
Looks like the original website.
I would give this site -minus stars if I could. I made a purchase on 1st April and my parcel is stranded in customs uk since then.
I am chasing PayPal for my payment from them.
They are very shrewd and deceptive
Hope they collapse and die.
Scam!
Scam!
I didn’t expect that it is possible but…..
No parcel, no trainers, no email, no answer….. nothing.
Definitely a scam
Definitely a scam. Do not place an order. Alerted by my credit card company who didn’t let payment go through luckily, and the amount was for more than I thought I was going to pay, also some other company had tried to put a payment through my card after that who I hadn’t heard of. Ended up cancelling my credit card for protection.
SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS. Stay away.
They sent me a cheap wooly hat instead of shoes. They then blamed the courier. They think its acceptable to make me pay for return postage even though it was their error and at the same time they are claiming the item I did receive wasn't from them and the courier mixed the orders.
The only other solution they said is a partial refund.
Absolutely shocking and definitely a fraudulent company.
Same as others - AVOID
Same as others. Fooled by the fact they've cloned the authentic site. Didn't occur to me to check the website URL reviews on here. 1st alarm signal was no 2nd level verification via my banking app during the payment process (which would obviously alert customers to the fact a Chinese 3rd party is taking their money). 2nd was an amount debited in Chinese Yuan by that 3rd party "EPL Naligery", for the quoted cost plus a massive, previously unmentioned shipping fee. 3rd was the noddy "manage my account" section of the website. 4th was the fact that their "customer service" email address does not exist. 5th was the badly worded "order update" emails that went straight to spam, attempting to reassure that everything was normal, honest. And 6th was then reading other reviews. Made me feel sick to my stomach to have been scammed like this, I used to think I was too smart. My bank was great and refunded the fraud amount - then bizarrely in the last week the Chinese company also refunded me, and even weirder a random hat turned up at my door yesterday with the same "order reference" they had been quoting in the emails. A quick Google suggests this might be related to a "brushing" scam to harvest fake positive reviews for their site? Have reported the site to the UK Cyber Crime authorities.
I wish I had read other reviews…
Sadly wish I had read other reviews before ma king my purchase. Very similar website to the official Hoka One site, great sale prices!!!. Like others I made a payment ( unfortunately my bank’s usual 2 point authentication did not occur) & I received an email saying ‘ Order paid pending notified’. As I was now suspicious I checked my online bank account & saw a pending payment for more than the purchase price & to a totally unrelated company name. I emailed to cancel the order ( no response), reported the issue to my bank & to Trading Standards. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I cannot believe this company is still…
I cannot believe this company is still allowed to operate. I became immediately suspicious when I received the confirmation email and emailed the customer service address and it bounced back and now I see I have been charged more than was quoted on the payment page. I have contacted my bank and I have contacted Hoka.com and informed them about this company as this will not do their brand any favours. This seems to be a scam company - if this has been reported as a scam then how are these people allowed to continue having an online presence.
DO NOT USE!
Payment problems and then a very suspicious looking email confirming payment. Looks like a scam, unfortunately.
UPDATE: I tried to cancel the order/payment using the customer support address that was quoted in the payment confirmation email - my email was bounced back as undeliverable.
It would appear that HOKAONEUK is a scam site that mimics the genuine hoka.com website.
I can only reiterate what everyone rlse…
I can only reiterate what everyone rlse has said on this site. This is a scam. I have reported the website to the relevant UK authority.
