Totally unprofessional. Their website advertises a 20% discount when you sign up for an account and encourages you to do so, so naturally we did. We then contacted them and asked if we could have any better pricing on a particular part because we want to order a large quantity. They came back saying we can't have a discount because we don't have an account! I said we've literally just opened one. They didn't reply. Then I got another email in response to my account request telling me to order through guest checkout. I said no because we want to get the discount. They replied saying "we can only process your order through guest checkout". What?? So why are you telling people to sign up for an account??

Ordered Uvex safety shoes. Been in the trade for decades and these are my favorite brand of safety shoes(this is my fourth pair). Comfortable, light and very durable. Customer service called me when I messaged that I had a problem placing my order online and were very helpful. The order took a while to arrive but I suspect this is because they are delivered from Germany. You are warned of this when ordering and they were delivered well within the promised period. The best sometimes requires a little waiting and they are pricey but you get what you pay for. Completely delighted.

Refused to open me an account due to my projected spending not being high enough.

Thanks for replying, but honestly, it doesn’t work for me and I guess many other small businesses. I was encouraged to registe and open an account by the deal you are advertising (20% off first order for new accounts), but my business got rejected for one because my projected spending wasn’t “high enough.” And it’s not just that my feeling was your team was straight-up rude and dismissive during the whole thing. No mix-up here; it was unprofessional and from the begining looked like you don't want my business and made onboarding impossible. I’m not bothering with the guest checkout—my review’s staying up as is because other businesses should know what they might deal with.
