Ponzi scheme scam in my opinion beware!

Hive is a centralised cesspit farmed by a handful of wealthy individuals. Please avoid because it is a pyramid scheme, you will get decent upvotes but once you start getting genuine community support you will be downvoted to 0 by whales who farmed so many tokens you have zero chance to make any money even if you have huge community support !!!
It’s like having a rly successful YouTube channel but one little thumb down from mr Beast can not only steal all your money but drop your rep so your posts can’t even be seen anymore. All you have to do to get downvotes is maybe stick up for someone else getting downvoted, get too much community support as to where you become a threat, say you don’t like being downvoted, post any of your content anywhere else on the internet, talk about any other crypto company, be attractive, have an opinion on politics they don’t like…. the list is endless it could even be they don’t like your hair.
Blurt.blog or Steemit are much better healthier sites. They have their issues but please do not waste your time on hive as eventually everyone realises it’s a pyramid scheme and regrets the time they wasted building a community that one person can undo. Blurt can’t do this as it doesn’t have downvotes. Tbh I would even stick on YouTube and insta over hive it rly isn’t worth your time, it look good and shiny for a few months to rope you in, but trust me you will regret it.

Awful platform with a handful of rich…

Awful platform with a handful of rich bullies who downvote peoples posts for fun, or because they just don’t like you, or they think you’re making too much money! Or you want to actually cash out and spend some of what you have earnt. You are encouraged to never ever cash out essentially or you get downvoted. Less free speech than any other social media platform I’ve ever experienced. Don’t get involved it will be a horrible experience after the initial few months you’ll run into one of them as soon as you start to grow any kind of following.

Best of the blockchain Social Content venues

Hive is the next generation of social content venue Steemit. As 20+ year blogger, I was drawn there because it reminded me lot of the "social blogging" sites of yesteryear, where you could find more in-depth content and discussion than the "fluffy" style of most mainstream social media.

Whereas the learning curve is a little steeper than most sites — due to the tight security attached to blockchain venues — it's worth the extra effort. If you want to make life easier, there's always the option to use the free-standing PeakD.com site, which works as a "wraparound" and has much better usability and more intuitive features than the root hive.blog site.

So what can you find here? Well, for me it's social blogging. But there are also hundreds of interest-based communities/groups. Many artists use Hive as an additional point of exposure; including as a place to create NFTs. Over the years, many "satellite" features have popped up, including video for vloggers, a number of "play-to-earn" gaming sites — including the popular Splinterlands game.

Hive often touts one of its primary "assets" as the fact that users OWN their own content; the community is "decentralized," meaning that you can't be "de-platformed" for saying the wrong thing, or having the "wrong" opinion.

Many talk about the rewards (in the site's native cryptocurrency, HIVE) but that should be taken with a grain of salt. Keep in mind that the creators who are earning decent rewards spent YEARS building their followings and reputations... when starting out, don't expect much, and your success will depend entirely on your efforts and how "social" you are.

Overall, definitely a worthwhile experience for bloggers, writers and content creators.

Are you telling me im locked out of my…

Are you telling me im locked out of my own account?! How many passwords do i need to remember in this world? How many passwords do i need to keep track of in here 5 complicated 20 letter ones? Why can't they be password designed by me? I am very disappointed. Security too high for my needs. Even paypal and crypto trading sites have less security in which i use real amounts of money and they work perfectly fine. You guys need a wakeup call, this is not how the things are done because i have never seen this. Utter trash service. Get me out of here. Give me back my time invested to solve my problems, you stole days of my life, most precious thing i could have lost!

Hive is the next version of the Steem…

Hive is the next version of the Steem blockchain that came about after a hostile takeover of the Steem blockchain and subsequent actions that saw funds being frozen of high profile Steem users.

Since the subsequent fork of Steem, Hive has truly become a project worthy of being called more than just a Steem fork. A great community, great team of developers behind it and community developer support creating a rich ecosystem of dApps.

The future is bright for Hive.

Great community and fast blockchain

This great community, browser experience, gaming community, and even crypto banking experience is the best Web 3.0 blockchain application in the world. The Hive blockchain is very fast, the Devs are capable, and the crypto users keep onchain is secure.

There are even DApps (decentralized apps) available to users on this blockchain enabling people to lend out tokens securely and receive profit in return. The term used for this type of lending is Delegation. The tokens never leave your wallet but users can securely lend Hive token power for mutual benefit. Get on this blockchain and make an account today to get paid for posting about anything from your latest vacation, the car you fixed up nicely, or an amazing web 2.0 frontend website you made for a blockchain DApp
