Amateur Hour Antics

This company seems to mostly hire amateurs. I originally had trouble obtaining my equipment and attending a setup meeting because they scheduled an in-person meeting for me at an office in San Antonio, that didn't exist at that time. They then have sent me emails telling me about being non-compliant with my usage (too few hours) but mostly did not reply to my emails with questions. Currently, I'm in a position of needing to order supplies, but the link they sent me expired, and calling only goes to voicemail.

One positive: the trainer who helped me to learn about my equipment over a remote video call was informed, friendly, and helpful.

Avoid Hiro Health if you like calls returned

I strongly encourage any patient considering doing business with Hiro Health to find another vendor.

I have been a customer of Hiro Health for about four months. My experience has been horrible.

In March, I had difficulty ordering supplies on their website. I phoned. I left a message. It took a week for them to call. Apparently, their website could not process the order because the item was not covered by insurance. Instead of the website asking if I wanted to pay out of pocket, I had to call, wait a week, and then order. This was a total waste of time and delayed a needed item by a week. There is no excuse for taking a week to return a call.

In April, I called with a question about supplies. As has almost always been the case, I was sent to voicemail. I left my name and phone number. It has been over six weeks, and that call was never returned.

A week later, I followed up the voicemail with a text message submitted on their website asking for a call. It has been over five weeks, and the call I requested has never been made.

Last week, I received an automated message asking if I wanted to reorder supplies. Because Hiro Health never bothered to call me to answer my question about supplies, I was not about to give them an order. Frankly, I was angry.

So, I called their corporate office and asked to speak with the president/CEO/owner. I was told he was out of the country. I was promised a call yesterday, when he would be back in the office. No call yesterday. No call today.

Enough is enough. These people run the business in a way which is abusive of me as their customer. Sorry, but if they cannot return a call or respond to a text message for well over a month, that is inexcusable treatment of me as their customer.

I hope that it would also be unacceptable to you as well.

Hiro Health sells refurbished CPAP units.

Hiro Health sells refurbished CPAP gear, with low hours. It cost me 50% of the new price. I had never bought anything from them previously and so it was a bit of a risk. However, the machine arrived quickly, was extremely clean, and came with a new hose and humidifier chamber. The company responded promptly to my email inquiries. All good!
