In 2011, brothers, Pete & John formed Hire a Hymer. We have now split our fleet between Hymers and more modern motorhome hire. We have for the most part continued with the Hymers – with a few exceptions! Our aim is to provide our Motorhome hire to likeminded people who seek to make something more out of their journey to wherever they are going. Our vehicles are scrupulously maintained and offer real value to the customer which we combine with our personal and experienced service. Since we started we have been based around Northamptonshire. Having started on our front drive, we then moved to Furtho Manor Farm and then in October 2015 we moved to Potterspury. In early 2021 we had a change of direction due to the Covid – 19 outbreak. We decided to change our location for somewhere totally new – North Wales. It’s an area we know and love. Sea, mountains and gorgeous beaches. John has now left the team but Pete and his wife Nikki continue to run the business from our Colwyn Bay location. Explore where and when you want – motorhome hire gives you the freedom to travel at your pace and to stay where you want. We are based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales just next to the A55 which is the main dual carriage way linking directly to the M56 motorway and the M6 motorway and goes all the way through to the port of Holyhead in Anglesey. We are just an hour drive from both Manchester and Liverpool airports and approximately 45 minutes away from Holyhead Port and Cheshire County. We are also just 10 miles away from the Snowdonia National Park. We are ideally placed for exploring all Wales has to offer including the Llŷn Peninsula, Shell Island, Snowdonia, Pen y Fan, Brecon Beacons and The Gower Peninsula. Also a great base for setting out on the North Coast 500 in Scotland or travelling to and from Ireland by ferry.See more
