A worthy review. My name is Dave Capps from the UK; I have been trekking in Nepal since 1984 as an individual and with groups large and small. I have trekked Nepal around 25 times. I am quite happy for people to contact me for help and advice.
For a family trip I found Ram Pohari and ‘Himalaya Journey Treks and expeditions’ to look after us.
You naturally have concerns when handing over quite a lot of $ in a 3rd world country but Ram Pohari delivered everything he promised.
The trekking itself was smooth and organised and the lodges were excellent with friendly staff.
Approaching my 70th I wanted to create memories for my family to take with them into their old age; Ram Pohari’s Himalaya treks with his team led by Bhairav Thapa delivered that superbly.
Bhairav and his team deserve special mention; As often happens some members of our party had had enough after reaching Gokyo Ri and some wanted next day to go to Gokyo 5th lake. Bhairav escorted some down (the most needy) and one porter stepped up and guided others to Gokyo 5th lake and back to Gokyo then did a full days carry to the next location and seemed surprised that we insisted he drop the bags and come in for refreshments.

My wife , Leslie and I travelled to Nepal for the first time in November for the Annapurna Ghorepani poon hill trekking .Ram pahari helped to arrange all our specific requirements exactly according to our needs. Had a great time trekking to Ghorepani poon hill Ghandrung village. We enjoyed so much on the spectacular views of Annapurna mountains ( Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna south, Fishtail / Machhapuchhare , Hiunchuli, Nilgiri,) They made this trek a very memorable experience for us. Our guide Nima sherpa was absolutely fantastic We would highly recommend this trekking company to anyone wanting to do a trek in Nepal.
