The tow company did not back the customer when the tow man left the car in the middle of the driveway crooked.
My young daughter had them come out to move a vehicle from our overlot parking lot in our development to our driveway, which was about 1/15 of a mile. He charged my daughter $140. He then backed the car into our driveway, crooked as heck and did not push it all the way back up to the garage; so it’s 3/4 of the way into the driveway. We need enough space in driveway to put another car to park in there. Our second car is sticking out of driveway because there’s no room as the car he told is down too far in the driveway going towards the street. My daughter told him, “Thats ok you can leave the car that way and he went ahead and did it. Instead of him saying, “that’s my name on that work, I’m not gonna leave the car half butt; I’m going to make sure it fits in her driveway properly and she won’t have to worry about the car after this. Who just put a vehicle in your driveway crooked and not even up to the garage door? I called and initially spoke to a man named Davenport, who said that the tow man who came out for our service is a contractor. We got the tow guy on three-way and he had the nerve to get loud and yell at me on the phone and tell me that he can come out, but he has to charge us $90 more dollars because he needs to gather more resources to put the car properly in the driveway. So he was gonna charge us $90 to correct his mess up. He blamed my daughter because she said he could leave it that way, instead of him saying, “that’s not right. I need to do a better job. I need to make sure this customer is happy and the vehicle is in the driveway appropriately” my daughter did not know any better. She does not know anything about cars. She doesn’t know that, even though he was pushing it in crooked that he could also straighten it, but she didn’t demand him straighten it so he just left it like that. he is now blaming her for the reason that he didn’t tow it into the driveway properly because she said no that’s OK. He knows the car does not start until we get a starter because he kept saying it’s a non-operative vehicle. So if you know that, get it in the driveway right the first time so we don’t have to have another tow people come out and straighten his work. I could not believe he was yelling at me on the phone. He wouldn’t let me talk; it was just all bad. Davenport, the person who answered the phone initially told the tow driver that I sent him a picture and it was crooked and it wasn’t all the way in the driveway. He also told tow man the car was almost just in the middle of driveway. I would never recommend this place. They took NO apology, NO acknowledgment, and definitely NO accountability.
