A delightful garden developed with a lot of love and respect for the environment.
Wonderful planting and ideas and a joy to get away from the very formal gardens of stately homes. From the way we were greeted at the entrance to the amazing scones, exquisite china and polite service in the tea room at the end of the garden tour, it was worth the price of the admission.

Excellent and informative tour. Look forward to visiting again to see the garden at a different time of year.

A friend had done a very helpful favour and we wanted to reward him in a special way. We couldn't pop round with gift since we live a couple of hundred miles apart, so a bottle by post seemed a good idea. There was a good choice on the website and ordering was straightforward. We were kept informed of progress and the recipient was absolutely delighted with his surprise delivery! Thank you.

The gardens were beautiful . Calming and so peaceful. They made such an impression on myself and my family . The staff were so polite and helpful and the lunch was 1st class in quality and taste . The perfect end to a perfect morning in this wonderful place

yes, the products were fantastic in particular the basket which I gave to my granddaughter which she was very grateful & in the basket the lining there is a forest very creative. two of the honey jars were confiscated also the tea leaves were destroyed by customs to be destroyed & I had to pay dearly to customs.

I was looking for a gift, and the wool picnic blanket was the perfect choice. by using left over wool thread, it both green and unique in colour. One of a kind.

We were pleased the heat wave had eased to a moderate mid twenties for our trip, but were concerned how dry and crispy the gardens would be! Have to say, every single member of staff we met, from the initial security staff through to the lady serving in the restaurant, were absolutely lovely - friendly, welcoming, informative and so helpful. They must receive excellent training!! We were looked after from the moment we arrived. Parking was easy, we were welcomed and shown to a waiting area for our tour (fab toilets!) and then set off with our guide. The gardens are much larger than I imagined and due to the King's high principles regarding ecology, only parts had been watered so the grass and some plants were showing the effects of the heatwave. However, it was still truly beautiful with lots of surprises and well thought out but natural beauty. Our guide was very informative, and was keen to help us to understand the King's vision for the gardens. The pace was calm and easy, although we were on our feet for 90 minutes. After the tour we went into the cafe for lunch which had a lovely relaxing ambience, and, although the menu was limited, the food was delightful. The savoury choices were a sandwich collection, quiche collection, soup or a cheese selection. There were also lots of delicious cakes!! The lady serving us, Bobbi, was such a wonderful character -she could not do enough for us, but was also great fun and made our dining experience extra special. They did not rush us at all, offered hot water top ups for our tea, and allowed us to totally relax and enjoy the surroundings and excellent food. We then moved into the shop which was pricey but full of interesting things. I can honestly the whole experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend, although perhaps spring/early summer would be a better time of year to visit.

After placing the order and paying the additional duty fees, the carrier provide, DHL claims to have delivered my order. However, I contacted them immediately and several times afterwards and cannot reach someone to discuss. I never received my package. It was a gift for my brother in law. Please stop using their services.

The tour of the gardens and lunch were just a wonderful day out. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly, it was an A+ experience.
