I’ve been happy with the service from Higeia (1st month) — the consult process was smooth and comparable to any standard online doctor appointment. It was convenient and straightforward, and I appreciated that the service is accessible to people who may be looking to lose a more moderate amount of weight (around 8–10kg), not just those with significant weight to lose.
It’s only been one week so far, with a small loss to date, so watch this space in terms of longer-term results.
However, the medication itself was nearly 50% more expensive than what you'd normally pay with a standard script. Living in the NT, delivery took over three days and unfortunately the product did not remain properly chilled on arrival, which was concerning.
I’d be very happy to pay for the consult component, but would prefer the option to receive a script and collect locally from a pharmacy instead. That would make the service far more practical and cost-effective for regional customers.

I’ve had a great experience with Higeia…
I’ve had a great experience with Higeia using Mounjaro. The nurses and Dr. Peter Lewis have been very supportive and responsive throughout my journey. I’ve found micro-dosing particularly helpful in managing my progress steadily.
I haven’t had major side effects, except for some hair loss, which I understand can happen with weight loss as the body adjusts. It would be helpful to have more guidance around managing this.
Overall, I’m grateful for the professional support and care from the team.

Different options
There are a couple of easier options so bare with me! If you are obese, then you will certainly be able to go on a disability and your scripts for Ozempic will cost no more than seven dollars! Secondly if you need to pay somebody monthly to tell you what to eat I’m sure you can do it yourself without having to pay some guy who decided or too fat, but now I am a genetic genius to tell you what to eat? It’s all on Google. It’s called motivation, if you are motivated to lose weight then google a suitable diet for yourself and some suitable exercise that suits your lifestyle. You don’t need to pay somebody to do this and tell you what to eat and you must do 25,000 K steps a Day. You already know that.

Overpriced medication. No proper consultation. 2.5mg 480.00. 5mg is 610.00... but chemist wharehouse 5mg is 395.00 so go figure whose making money out of people wanting to fight cravings and weightloss...
