Studio apartment kitchen, sixty square feet total. Silo took some convincing because the base is not small, but once I dedicated a corner of the counter and accepted I would store it there permanently it has earned its space. The pump runs quickly, well under a minute per container. The foldable design helps when I really need the counter back for prep. My only ask is a slimmer base option for tight kitchens, I would buy that in a second. Containers themselves are stackable so they go inside the fridge without losing shelf real estate. Two months and food waste in the green bin is visibly down.

In our house we have to keep gluten away from one kid and dairy away from another. Each Silo container gets a dedicated label in the app and a dedicated spot in the fridge, so cross contamination just stops being a worry. Tritan is BPA free and the lids go through the dishwasher hot wash without warping.
