🚨 CONSUMER ALERT:
Fruitqueen openly states that its boxes may contain both certified organic and noncertified fruit. For noncertified fruit, the company relies on its own judgment that the farming practices “meet or exceed organic standards.”

But who verified that?

CERTIFIED ORGANIC = verified by a 3rd party to meet USDA standards.
“MEETS ORGANIC STANDARDS” = the company’s own assessment.

Those are not the same thing.

If you are paying a premium for organic fruit, ask whether the specific fruit is currently certified, who certified the farm, and where you can verify it.

Know what you’re paying for.
