Since 2021, I've been buying HEX, and I'm truly impressed by its design and execution. Plus, the community around it is incredibly supportive! The thing I appreciate most about HEX is its yield generation system, a brilliant creation by the inventor himself.

To put it simply, HEX's code is rock-solid and unchangeable. Each year, the total supply inflates by 3.69%. When you stake HEX, you create "tshares" which give you a portion of this inflation, proportional to your stake. As HEX stakes end, the price of tshares increases in HEX terms, rewarding longer-term stakeholders.

If you re-stake shorter stakes, you will stake at higher prices, by doing so you will yield less tshares and consequently less returns unless you commit for a longer period. This "longer pays better" principle makes the system deflationary, increasing the share price as high-yielding stakes end. You can still stake shorter periods for example 1, 2, 5 or 8 years and still make a relatively good return.

Now, the potential for return on investment (ROI) can increase for a long time, but it's not unlimited. The objective isn't to exceed the highest yield ever achieved, but to ensure, longer stakes always outperform shorter ones.
