Don't bother. The quality on the computer is VASTLY different than what you get. The mini had NO color definition, highlights, or lowlights. It was very basic as if painted by a beginner with a s... See more

Poor quality paintjob
Not worth the price. Wouldn't pay a 1/4 of the price for such a poor paint job. Probably could've painted equally as bad myself and saved 80% of the cost. Wanted it painted to not have to take the time with painting and end up with a bad result. Jokes on me, costs a fortune for such a little plastic piece and the paint job still looks awful. The face isn't even painted, the colors are completely washed to the point of them barely even being visible. Red looks like black, black is almost Grey, yellow is white etc etc. Do not waste your money on this, it's unfortunately crap. Wish I could attach an image of the end result in this review

$60 for a $30 product
The website is fun to use and shipping was pretty reasonable. I bought a custom colored mini. For the $60... its quality is more like $30... It was not worth it. The mini itself is washed out, and looks like its covered in a layer of dust. The face looks like a blob and 0 of the nice characteristics you get on the website. With colors as dull as they are they start bleeding into each other and looks like a mess. I was so excited to finally get a custom mini and I feel let down. I'd give it more stars if the price matched the quality.
This mini is fantastic!
This mini is fantastic!
Carefully packaged, true to the design made online, quality plastic!
I can’t find a fault. Good on you, Hero Forge!
Fantastic Figures with lots of options
Great Customisation and very happy with quality once arrived.
It took about a month to arrive in the UK but this was advertised prior to purchase.
Overall very happy!
Excellent Customization
Pros: Extremely customizable miniatures, vibrant 2d color standees , customer service
Cons: Expensive, mediocre packaging, dull coloring on 3d plastic miniatures, slow shipping and handling
Takes money for nothing...
Some lovely people decided to give me a gift card to Hero Forge. Unfortunately, I find the visual style of their products awkward and have no interest in their products. Apparently none of my otherwise nerdy friends have any interest in their stuff either. So I figured they might be kind enough to refund an unclaimed gift card. Instead they hold tight to pointless rules and have taken the money hostage, wasting the kindness of my friends, and taking money for literally nothing.
Such an unkind and selfish company with no empathy or common sense.
Edit: After complaining and escalating they made a "special exception" to refund.
Great quality
Bought mine premium plastic quality human miniature from Hero Forge and i'm really pleased of quality. it was better than excepted. It was bit on expensive side but custom is allways custom.
-Software to design mini was pleasant to use.
-Delivery overseas time span was ok.
-Packaging was really good with little plastic box where mini was taped with extra stryofoamballs.
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. Ordered my miniature in August, never arrived, did not receieve my refund despite asking for it numerous times. They tried to tell me it was my fault that I didn't pay the customs charge but I was never contacted by the mail operator to pay the customs charge so they definitely just didn't fill out the customs paperwork correctly. They claimed to have sent the refund to my bank account but included the wrong billing address so I presume that's why the refund failed to send, or they just lied and never actually processed the refund. It is now December and I have no miniature and no refund.
I’ll be back!
I ordered 2D miniatures from HeroForge and was not disappointed with the quality, colour and customisation of the figures.
I will continue to use them as my players level up with each campaign as they give them a real boost for role-playing when they see their characters depicted as they imagined on the board.
The delivery took a little while but not surprising from the US to the UK so this wasn’t an issue for me, and the characters were well worth the wait.
Even the bases were printed as I had customised them, which I didn’t realise would happen for 2D figures compared to 3D.
Packaged well, all arrived safe.
Brilliant!
Pleasently surprised
The user interface on the website was really, really versatile, yet easy to use. The order process was made easy and the possibility to cancel in the first 24 hours allowed me to make important changes to the model after realizing more possibilities with the model designer.
The delivery to Finland was in promised time period and the tracking of the package was comprehensive.
I'm most positively surprised about the quality of the color plastic model. I was aware that the color would be duller and many of the details would be lost in the printing, but nevertheless the model looks amazing. Luckily I had a bit oversaturated colors in some parts so they now look more natural (such as the red hair, which was flaming red, now more natural reddish brown). Also the details are there where they're important and some (such as nail studs visible on the shield and such).
Overall I'm very pleased with the product and will definitely order again if in need of a quality figurine for our DnD sessions. I'm really happy to now have a physical memento of the character I've played in a time period of over half a year.
Do not order from them
Do not order from them. Be careful they will add a ton of random fees to double your cost. Then they will leave you at manufa turing for month+. When you co tact them for some info or a refund, they tell you to pound sand its past the day after the order good bye. Please do not waste you money here get a wiz kid or go to eldritch
Waited 4 (!) months on a 50€ (!)…
Waited 4 (!) months on a 50€ (!) miniature just to pay extra shipping once it finally arrived. The Quality dropped significantly since 2021 when I last ordered there (excess plastik, coated in some film of (?) dust oder chemicals, two details on the miniature not fleshed out).
Last time I bought there!
absolutely awesome
absolutely awesome, they managed to help me get a figure i wouldnt never have gotten otherwise
im lucky i have a guy who can do the 3D printing part, so getting an stl direct saved a lot of hassle, but love that after YEARS to looking, i was able to find someone who could get me this
Too costly
Pro is overpriced and has lots of basic functionalities locked behind it.
It was very hard to customise and I…
It was very hard to customise and I couldn’t understand it plus there is no Australian prices
It's going on six weeks and counting…
It's going on six weeks and counting since I ordered my miniature. When I contacted customer service I got a canned response about their shipping times. I asked for a refund. The next day they told me it was shipping. A week later the product is still at some warehouse and hasn't moved. All I want is my money back. I paid $55 for one miniature and I have no idea if or when it will arrive. Stick to the online tools but don't but a physical mini from them, too expensive and six weeks is a long time to wait.
Worst miniture I have ever seen
Worst miniture I have ever seen. I play table top games and it's by far the worst quality. I know friends who 3d print for fun that do better work. The online part is perfect. Just get the digital downloads. Don't waste your time and money on buying a physical mini.
Great free services, reasonable paid services.
Their free design service is fantastic! Some of the physical providers can be expensive, primarily to their custom-made nature, but their quality upon arrival is far beyond what most hobbiest CNC devices are capable of (which I have a very solid amount of experience with). Since their creation service is free, I highly recommend you use it and support them where possible. If you have a 3D printer and solid competence with slicer software, I *highly* recommend their .stl export service. Yes, it's not a physical product, but that is where they make the money instead of charging to design minis in the first place. Other sites with free downloads typically charge for asset packs instead, but as far as design space quality is concerned, I think heroforge is by far the best.
2 months after ordering, order is still "TBD"
I ordered some minis on June 28th. Heard NO word from Heroforge, and my order status remained as "TBD" the entire time.
I contacted them about 3 weeks later as they hadn't shipped anything, and was told they had "very sudden and unexpected issues" with one of your suppliers ceasing operations without warning or notice.
"Fair enough", I thought, sounds like an unfortunate situation. so I'll wait a bit more.
Two weeks AFTER that, one of the minis arrives out of the blue.
ANOTHER FULL month later, and the other two minis I had ordered are still nowhere to be seen, with nothing heard from HeroForge and order status still "TBD"
Like seriously???? If you have sudden issues with suppliers that delay things THIS long then just cancel or stop taking orders. 2 FULL months (I said a quarter of a year when I contacted you Heroforge, my bad, but it genuinely feels that long)
And ZERO communication from them until I reached out first. All that on top of being ridiculously expensive.
One of my campaigns is near its end, so one of the minis will barely get used, even if I get it next week or something. I've been saintly with my patience, but that's entirely my fault I suppose.
I'll just stick to the digital files from now on, or better yet never buy anything from HF again. I'll definitely be dissuading everyone I know from ever getting any physical minis.
