Not completely transfered to new food yet but looking good. For a start the fact that he actually eats the food is a great leap forward. I'm mixing it with brown rice and about 10% of his old food.
I don't know if this is a problem, but sometimes, not always, he finds it hard to
chew and will spit it out. He's a little Lhasa Apso. Would the food lose some of its goodness if I put it in to soak a short time
before he eats.

My three affenpinschers are loving it! We are transitioning gradually from a pescatarian diet to a plant based one

I love the company ethos and philosophy. I’m vegan and so is Mr Smithers (Tibetan Terrier). He was a food demon but when he reached 13 he became choosy. With Herbie Wilde he eats everything on his plate (well bowl actually, plate just sounds better).
Being vegan means his weight is excellent and Herbie Wilde has to be the best, most nutritious dried vegan dog grub on the market.

I had no idea about the health benefits of plant-based dog food, but if you're on the fence, I highly recommend looking into it.

As a vegetarian myself, finding a dog food that is based on excellent nutrition for dogs without involving animal products was a winner. We adopted a ex puppy farm bichon Frise, neglected and malnourished for 6 years. He's now bouncy, bright eyed and up to weight. A real success story.

Excellent customer service - questions are always answered promptly and the team are really helpful. The food is excellent too. We have a very happy dog now her allergies are better managed on this food - she always drools whilst we're getting the food ready! We also love that this food is more sustainable for the environment and that Herbie Wilde donates to environmental causes.

My dog has allergies and she is extremely fussy. I’m vegan and as one of her allergies is meat I thought I’d try her on a vegan diet. She took to Herbie Wilde straight away, but she usually does with any new food. She’s on her 3rd bag now though and she hasn’t refused it yet, this is a record for her! I do have to add some warm water to it and leave it to soak in before she eats it, but I’m really impressed with it.

My 3 cocker spaniels love the food but they are foodies anyway they haven’t been on it for two long so can’t say to much

Josy enjoyed the sample pack. This was a few months back but we had just committed to another vegan brand O*** but we’ve finished it nearly last week and I decided to opt for more whole foods-kibble and committed to HW with the big bundle. Josy loved it! She would pick out her previous O*** kibble and put it aside and gobble the HW ones (since we mix both during her gentle transition) but this lady knows what she wants. Because she wouldn’t her more HW in the beginning days, she begrudgingly eats her old kibble. I hope she continues to show a lot of interest as she does now. She jumps for joy every time it’s meal time! HW has a slight herby smell, very nice and not overly processed-smelling like the other brand we used. Hoping to see a pate/wet food range from HW!

I ordered the sample bag and he really enjoyed it but as he has allergies there wasn’t enough to see how it goes so I have ordered the 3kg if all goes well I will keep him on it . Website easy to navigate and delivery was quick .

I give the dry dog food sample 4 stars purely because my dog didn't even try it. The company is well put together and Ella the owner does care.
The sample they give out is very handy so at least you can "try before you buy". In our case unfortunately is a no but worth a try for others
