Great Ice Cream and Customer Service
We stopped here for an ice cream while walking through Bury St Edmunds. Middle of May the sun was shining, what could be better? Not much to be honest
Sadly no Gluten free cones but a tub is fine, we would have loved to have sat outside but the limited number of tables were being used so the only option was a takeaway but with hands full of shopping bags that was not possible to do. Claire, who served us, said that the lunchtime rush was over we could sit inside which we gladly did. We both had the twisted Choc & vanilla which was delicious, creamy and full flavoured, so much better than some of the "ice cream" places try to pass off these days packed with palm oil etc and well worth the £9.00 for a regular waffle cone and a large tub - if fact we have not tasted better ice cream for a long time.
Thank you Claire for your service, much appreciated.
By the way the fish & chips looked great too - although I think they struggle to cater for Coeliacs
