Disappointed with the service received.
I have used this company for many years — both in my role as an events coordinator for a large venue and across the two venues I have personally owned over the last 15 years.
On 9 December, I booked a solo act through the agency and paid the full fee of £1,500 for a performance scheduled on 31 December. Unfortunately, due to significant customer and staff illness, we were forced to cancel the event and refund all ticket sales. When I contacted the agency to explain the situation, I asked whether it would be possible to postpone the booking until the summer, when we planned to hold an alternative event for our customers at a discounted rate.
The response I received was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. I was told I could rebook the performer for the summer at a cost of £700. I replied to express my disappointment, noting our long-standing relationship with the company, the very late timing of the original booking, and the fact that the performer had not incurred any travel or other expenses.
Again, the reply I received was abrupt and showed no willingness to offer discretion or acknowledge our history as a loyal customer.
As a result of this experience, I will not be using this company again and cannot recommend them to others.
