Horrible customer service
I cancelled Disney plus 11/22. They continue to draft my bank account every month. I have been on chat and phone for 3 hours. They agree that the service was cancelled but don't know why I'm still being billed. I have asked for a supervisor/manager 6 times and have yet to speak to one. This is terrible customer service. Never, ever let them draft on your account. I will now have to dispute each charge through my bank.

I got a years free subscription when I bought my phone.. the only decent film is deep rising.. they have 2 decent series buffy and malcolm in the middle which they've only just added and I own both these on dvd sets... they're very very limited on content, nothing u type in they will have... they just keep trying to push the same 10 films series.. So today is June 25th, 2023. I received notice that my account is on hold. Upon accessing my account via Disney+, it states my next billing date is June 27th. Additionally, my service is covered by Verizon as it is included in my plan from Total by Verizon and is stated so on the Disney+ account page. So why the actual F is it on hold. Accessing Total by Verizon, it states my Disney+ is paid through 6/27, next month! Can't get through to an agent with Disney+ because too many people are in the queue, probably complaining over billing issues as well.

I have come to hate Disney plus with a passion becuz they have promoted gay pride and they have gay pride programs on it, this is inappropriate, parents do u want your young kids exposed to gay pride and risk them growing up like that? Can’t even cancel subscription because it doesn’t recognise my email even though I’ve had service for 3 years. Heading to my bank to block direct debit as it seems to be my only solution. Streaming was crap anyway, spinning wheel of death was constant. We will find something else to subscribe to.
Worthless
Got charged without any notice. I didn’t want to renew of course and watch The Avengers over and over again, because they don’t have anything else watchable! They ruined Marvel and Star Wars!
Trying 17 days to get my refund, contacting them every day, they always “resolve” it but I still didn’t see my refund!

AWFUL company. I used to have a monthly subscription which came up for renewal and didnt renew. They took the whole year £80 from my account with no permission leaving me with no money the friday before a bank holiday. was told i would have my money in 3-5 working days, 8 working days later i have NO refund and had to live chat 3 times over the last 2 weeks chasing. No simple way to complain.

I must have spoke online to 8 different chat agents and even some on the phone, always getting disconnected and having to wait incredibly long periods of time.
Every single time I open my TV, my second one, I can't log in, because it gives you a link and then you go that link, and it is non-existent, or it logs you in to the app on the device you used only - your phone or your computer, but never access to the TV.
They provide an 8 digit code that you never get to use, because there is no way to use it.
The agents keep asking for info every time I call, and we spend more time talking about my correct zip code or the last 4 numbers of my CC on file, and when they attempt to solve the problem, they give me a task, like go 'incognito' etc which has me disconnect from them.
The worst app and customer service I have ever experienced. I am a big Disney fan, but to spend 4 hours one evening trying to log in to a TV to watch one episode of the Mandalorian is not happening.
It is no wonder your stock is failing.

first not enought content. at first when i loged in it was set to age 0 i corrected that and there was content, why is there a 0? also to find any content like my loved 70s movies it took me playing a old movie for the other movies to apear. even typing the other movies in search showed noting.
lastly and the1 of 2 reasons i will be unsubscribing is i have to input my pin every time i turn on disney on my tv, my projector, my 2 firesticks and my laptop and my phone. no thks to that.
honestly i only wanted to binge watch mando season 3 as my download wasnt in hdr.
but thats my second problem, im a binge series watcher not a weekly watcher, and thats the only reason im still on netflix. truth is there is not enough content on disney making the binge watch model irrelivant anyway but the pin yes i dont want to log on to disney every time i open the app, its so old now.
oh yes lastly on a nvidia shield pro 2019 model cant get disny content working in hdr and dolby atmos. so theres that.
the one star instead of 2 is making me watch every end credits roll before i can skip to the next episode on tv shows like andor. thats 3-4 minutes of credits making the 40ish minutes a episode be more closer to 35min. and why when i skip intro do i still get the 30 sec title andor screene. im guessing its to inflate episode length. Horrible, sneeky and wasteful use of a paying customers service.

If you looking for shows, they do have a decent selection but if you are not connected to a good wifi connection or if your mobile device has 2 or 3 bars, you might as well hang it up because you won't be able to watch streaming past 5 seconds before it freezes for minutes just to watch another 5 seconds. Their servers don't have the capacity to keep the buffering going. Out of Netflix, Hulu, prime, viki and discovery that I have. Disney plus performance is at the bottom. It wouldn't be as disappointing but their prices have increased recently maybe even 2x and they added commercials to the lower end. I think they are way over priced for the quality of streaming service they provide. You're paying for the name at this point. This has been this way since day 1 and seems like it got worse.

I am only giving them a 4 star for the good shows they are producing and collecting.
For example, I am over the moon that “The Orville” has been added to Disney+; I was bouncing off the walls for a solid 10 minutes over it. “The Orville” is a wonderfully made show by Seth Mcfarlane and deserves a 4th season. However, the show has adult jokes and talk of sex which is not appropriate for children. Although buying the streaming rights was an excellent choice I think that shows such as that should be in a separate category or area for Disney. Our kids should not be exposed to jokes like that too soon.

I have the Disney plus bundle with Hulu. I processed payment but my Hulu account was on hold. I spent over 3 hours on the phone with Disney plus customer support over a 2 day period. They kept telling me that it was a system issue and that it would be fixed within 15 minutes to 12 hours. It was never fixed. They keep you on the phone forever and won’t allow you to speak to a manager because supposedly higher level support isn’t customer facing. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
