If Netflix can do it...

Every other app on my firestick is fine. This app is slow, glitchy and crashes so often.
Come on Disney, if Netflix can make it work with so many subscribers, sort it out...it's not as if you are short of a bit of cash!

Disney has changed drastically in the…

Disney has changed drastically in the last few decades. It used to be family oriented. Now all it appears to do is show homosexuality and gay stuff on cartoons. I have 3 children and this is ridiculous. Shame on you Disney.

The Disney+ app is hopeless on my fire…

The Disney+ app is hopeless on my fire TV. Constantly refuses to connect media with error 42, claims that the TV is offline (when it isn't), and choppy playback with audio since problems when it can actually be persuaded to work. In technical terms, it's by far the worst streaming service I've ever used.

Disney plus with ads is a scam

Disney plus with ads is unavailable on Roku streaming devices and on Microsoft desktop and they don't mention that when you buy the subscription so you're stuck with your phone

Thieves and incompetent.

One star is enough, be warned! I had a Samsung code for 12 months, I entered early in the year and they told me to wait until current subscription expired. So when it came time to do it again it was telling me it had already been redeemed. They didn’t care, were unprofessional so now they’ve lost a customer. Good riddance!

I started off with having some technical issues but I phoned the women and she sorted the problem quickly and efficiently she was very helpful and she made sure I had no problems.

Harassment charge required

The actual content is alright, however they are one of the many annoying companies that think sending you many pointless emails every single day will encourage us to spend our money with them and no obvious option to turn off junk crap on app or website.
Subscription cancelled!!!

Disneyplus Server issues

I have had techincal issues for 6 weeks with my Disneyplus, disconnecting, buffering, not loading and generally being very slow to load. Contacted Disney and they tested my line, my apps etc etc then told me it was a known issue with their servers and that it would be fixed within 48hours. Oddly gave me a 4 month refund without even asking for one.

6 weeks and many calls later still no working disneyplus, and despite giving them call case number still have to do all the annoying tests again and again.

judging by all the reviews the issues with their servers is a major one that is not getting fixed soon

Disney is becoming increasingly…

Disney is becoming increasingly expensive and is taking away stored media. It is changing its platform for the worse not better. Why the hell does it need to know my gender and birthday. The government is awfull into monitoring everything and everyone. I honestly don't have the time for it. Disney used to be a family corporation. Now they feed off of families and take children...

I think I need therapy after this

Took 8 different customer reps, 5 hours of my life, to sort out a problem. I also kept getting disconnected from the chats after a while so I would have to start from scratch and explain the entire thing again to the next person. I was then referred to higher support who were going to contact me in 24 hours, 6 days later and nothing. I think I genuinely need therapy after having to deal with all this, I could've cried out of pure frustration from the incompetence of the customer reps and the live chat that decided it didn't want to work after a while. Never never again. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with

The Absolute Worst Streaming Site

The absolute worst streaming app and website that exists. I'm including Pureflix, College Humor, Twitch, any and all of them.

The app doesn't work at all (crashes on starting) on many android phones and it has been this way for years, yet they haven't fixed it.

Secondly, HOW IS THERE NO MINIPLAYER OR PICTURE IN PICTURE?? YouTube, Twitch, Netflix, Prime; all the streaming sites have it but this one? How are they such a huge and wealthy company with an awful product, one that is the exclusive source of many shows that millions of people watch?

Third, on desktop you will often just get a black screen instead of the website loading properly. Apparently this can happen because of ad blockers, VPN's, or for no good reason at all. A company that tries to squash VPN use in particular is unbelievably greedy and doomed to fail. They are used for privacy and many other perfectly legitimate reasons.

Fourth, they took a bunch of very popular shows off of other websites and television stations so they'd have them exclusively, then they don't even let you sign up from many (most?) countries or have a functioning service.

I'm honestly shocked that so many people I knew had Disney Plus, can't imagine why anyone would pay for this.

Oh, and also, they're now starting to charge you to watch their content WITH ADS. These companies try to lure you in with decent prices or free streaming with ads, then slowly raise them until you're paying as much as you did before but now have to watch ads on top of it. No justification for this.

One star… bunch of crap

One star because of “bundle deal” which is not a deal at all. Just like Hulu, you get charged for bundles you didn’t want and no refund. They will “discount” but you still end up being charged what seems like whatever they want to charge you. Phone call after call, month after month, I’ve finally decided to let the rest of the year go since I already paid more than enough for something I don’t use. Will be cancel next year and never buying again. Better off with cable than fumbling around with all these streaming services that are pure crap.

Disney plus is by far the worse…

Disney plus is by far the worst streaming service available, not in terms of content which is great but the app itself is so slow and glitchy and despite having 350mb broadband and a TV wired up with an ethernet cable it constantly buffers, the sound drops out, playback skips forward and pixelates. Awful awful service, Disney should do better.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Twice I have contacted support and neither time could they fix the problem. The second time after two multi hour sessions on chat, I told them if they could not fix the problem they should refund my yearly subscription and cancel the account. So they cancelled the account and refunded a pro-rated amount. F##$ idi0ts. They just gave up! There is an obvious software problem with updating profiles which apparently, they refuse to fix which gives a minor primary account access to change anything.

Purchased the Disney plus with Hulu & ESPN bundle NO ADS had a problem connecting to ESPN called customer service. Explained we could not get ESPN and while watching Hulu's own movie programs still getting ads. Got the typical BS explanation bla,bla,bla BS. Don't fall for their false advertisements. You do not get what you pay for. Total scam, total ripoff. Highly NOT recommended. Good for children not worth the money. Support does not know how to fix problems. What a joke. Canceling

Junk mail

I've just received an email that says I've signed up. No I haven't. The original email says "Please do not respond as this address does not accept emails and you will not get a response" so I went to Help as the email advises. Turns out that to unsubscribe I need to log into the account but as I didn't set it up I don't know the password. So I tried the "lost password" option and logged in. That just took me to a "Make a payment" page.
So I tried a different approach via the feedback form which says "do not include any personal information" so I can't provide my email address so they can't fix the problem. I've reported the original email as spam.

No resolution for user of 18 months…

ERROR 83… CONSTANT INTERRUPTIONS, EXIT APP
CANNOT WATCH ANYTHING WITHOUT CONSTANT INTERRUPTIONS
No resolution for user of 18 months plus, only now has the interruptions begun in last week? Stupidly Paid subscription upfront!

LG Smart 4k Tv, app uninstalled and reinstalled, error causes need to exit app, same occurs on Fire TV 4k. Even Ipad, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad Pro etc all iOS and updates up to date.
Wired 200mbps/100mbps internet fibre connection
Forums and social media all report fault lies with DISNEY+.

Please offer ALL CUSTOMERS AFFECTED compensation for inconvenience and need to purchase movies elsewhere in order to watch. As breach of contract is actively occurring.
AUTO RENEWAL WILL BE CANCELLED will just use another service.
ALL other Streaming Apps operate without issue.

High school students could build a better website

It's hard to believe that with the kind of money Disney juggles that their streaming app is so bad, like the worse... so unintuitive, always have to reload, and when you watch a series you have to reset the fullscreen mode, EVERY time after the end of an episode, and a lot more. So annoying to use, and honestly, I never do unless I have to. Would rather not, Disney need to get their s*** together.
