I didn't want to leave the review at first and was hoping to work on the solution with Hello Kitchen but it didn't work out.
We ordered a kitchen at Hello Kitchen Son in April 2021. And it was somewhat a struggle since the beginning. At first we had to chase and follow our account manager to get 3D plans, at some point we even wanted to order a kitchen at some other place but it turned out that we would have to pay a fine in this case (this was not explained to us but to be fair it was on one of the papers in Dutch). Then we got another account manager and he sat together with us and implemented all the changes.
Delivery was on time, our new kitchen was installed on Aug 3rd. In the afternoon the guys finished assembly and left, we ere happy with the outcome and went out for dinner. But when we came back home, the back panel seemed a bit loose. We talked that the next day we need to call Hello kitchen but 10 minutes later this whole thing (the back panel and the hood) fell off, the glass hood broke itself and damaged the induction. There was glass everywhere and luckily I didn't get hurt (I was standing just 2-3m way).
We contacted the customer service and went to a shop. In the shop we were told that all they can do is calling the customer service and we should do the same. Next day there was a water connection planned and a monteur who did this was super helpful. He called the company himself and I think this is the reason why we got some attention fast. They replaced the hood and the induction within a week.
Another issue was with the cabinet lights - they are not the same that we've discussed in the shop. We've asked for the ones with a remote control and got ones with a cable and a switch that is just laying in the cabinet now. In the order they are going by article codes and it's impossible for us to check it, but we've definitely discussed the remote control. So we called Hello Kitchen, went to the shop - they promised that our account manager will call us back. Nothing happened - we went to the shop again and again. He finally called back and said that he will search for a solution and call us again the next day. That was more than 2 weeks ago and we heard nothing since then. We called the customer service again, they requested assistance from Son shop and promised us again that the manager will call us back. Nothing. It's already 4 weeks since we asked to solve the issue with the lights, we contacted Hello Kitchen countless times and still there is no response or any follow up.

I am writing this review as I am very disappointed with the technician/service engineer and customer care service from Kuchen Direct for the issue with the Kitchen Top.
I tried everything with the customer care and service engineer and they have no solution.
While i have also asked for a new technical service engineer visit, customer care said no to this.
Background of the issue with Kitchen Top:
We bought the kitchen in July (delivered). Only in Nov we have witnessed swelling on the side of Kitchen top, it was due to the moisture near the sink area. Water from around the sink was somehow collecting near the edge always instead of staying where it is. (I also reported this on the first service engineer visit in Aug or Sep 2020). Then we saw another damp spot where dishwasher is placed.
Now Technician/ service engineer explained this as user damaged (and while he was not at all listening to our side of the concern.)
How is that user damaged. Kitchen top with a sink was made for water works. There was no protection below the sink, so this should be the design issue at Kuchen direct. Why I am suffering now because of the flaw at their end. (I reported this during installation also that why it is not covered from below, to which the installation engineer said you can paint it on your own)
Of course we were taking utmost care that water should not travel to the edges by putting cloth and all. Still the part of the top is damaged in first 4 months itself. This is really concerning about the quality of the kitchen top.
When I bought this kitchen they told me that the top is good for 10 years or so. And here in 4 months I see the damages which I reported well in time.
I also reported in Aug/Sep that water is not stopping
Also the response time is an issue -
We raised the concern in November by sharing clear pictures of Kitchen top, we receive the appointment for technician visit after 2 months and in this visit he only took picture, which we had already sent in November and told other Engineer will visit later. After 4 weeks second Service Engineer came who was not really helpful in his response. He only said - I don't know to all the questions without really trying to find the resolution which was disappointing, so we were waiting for 3 months to listen to this.
Also he told that I bought a cheaper version and there is another version with below protection also. Why this was not told by Sales Team in the first place?
And my biggest concern is why Kuchen direct is selling these without protection at all. (Attn. SALES)
This is one the top installed in showroom as model and we selected from there.
I cannot pay for a new top while its not been 1 year since I bought a new kitchen from Kuchen Direct. I put my year savings in this kitchen.
It is really disappointing that the trust and enthusiasm shown at the time of Sales is not well translated in Customer Service.
The SALES team should be accountable for giving the incomplete information, when we are choosing top they should have told clearly that it will not withhold any moisture. And what was more disheartening was that Engineer is claiming it as User damage - are we not suppose to use the sink and dishwasher then with these Kitchen Tops? These are basic requirements.
We are really let down by the response and way this situation has been handled.
Update : Hi I shared the order number and its been 3.5 months no update. no contact since then.
Update : I sent the order number via Trust Pilot on 13th Feb. I think you got incorrect information about us getting several mails and calls it was the other way round we called Customer Care multiple times and yes we received the offer of getting a new kitchen top which is similar to current one and we had to pay for it, so I don’t understand the offer - if we are getting the similar kitchen top with no protection underneath it will also swell up.
Then how this is a solution for the issue raised. And we have to pay again for it. Looking forward to some actual solution from you

I recently had an introductory meeting with Hello Kitchen Son(10th of October, 2020). During our appointment, the kitchen advisor asked me to sign an initial agreement. I don't speak Dutch at all and trusted him to sign it. I was naive not to ask about the terms. From my side, I thought this is an agreement to get a quote. During our discussion, the kitchen advisor showed me some smart appliances that I was interested in. But in the paper, he used totally different models(for oven and microwave oven). I found out that only when I went back home and checked the model numbers on the internet. I called him immediately and he apologized and assured me that these models will be replaced with the same quote. Furthermore, the kitchen layout he drew during our discussion was not compatible with my kitchen floorplan. He made that mistake while drawing this. I asked him repeatedly that I need to see the final layout. I want to add more cabinets and would like to know how much it would cost as I need to see whether this is within my budget or not. He told me that he will start with a basic plan and then he wants to add later. If I knew that this is an official kitchen contract, I would have never signed it. Why would I as nothing was finalized? On the following day, I went to the kitchen store again and asked the kitchen adviser I met a day before that I don't know the terms and conditions and I don't know what I signed. I showed my concern. He told me that don't worry a final agreement will be signed when we finalize everything. He told me that a green paper that he gave me contains all the terms, but this is in Dutch. He did not explain anything in English. I was quite worried and showed my concern by emailing them on Monday(12th of October) that I don't want to proceed without finalizing everything. And then in the following day, they sent me some attachments with a kitchen layout that is not compatible with my kitchen floorplan. Please note that they totally ignored the concerns I showed by email on the previous day. I then sent them another mail and told them that I don't want to proceed with this renovation. I can't trust them as they put different model number than what was discussed. The kitchen sketch that was created during our appointment and the email they sent to me is totally wrong. Now the kitchen company informed me that if I decide to cancel then they will charge me. I had no clue that it was an agreement that I can’t cancel. They did not explain anything. I find several issues here. First of all, this is their obligation to explain to me what is this paper about and all the terms. They did not explain to me a single bit about terms and cancellation terms. Why do I need to pay for it? I find this extremely unfair. They don’t even know my floorplan properly. The appliances they mentioned in the paper are not discussed. I feel that as a consumer my rights are violated here. I am sure there are many other people who will fall into this kind of trap. This kind of practice must be stopped. A kitchen company shall not trick a customer to sign a paper with some basic planning without finalizing anything. I was naïve to trust them but I feel that consumer rights are not well protected here. I feel that they took the opportunity by using my venerability of not knowing Dutch.

Very very bad customer service. We bought a complete kitchen. When delivered a part was damaged. They told us that they were going to deliver it within the week, we never heard from them again and never got a refund or a replacement of the damaged part.
We needed some additional parts after the kitchen was placed and we made the order. When delivered after 8 weeks! (Mind you two pieces took 8 weeks) the sizes were completely wrong. We called them, they were very rude and you can hear the attitude that they dont care.
We had to wait another 7-8 weeks to deliver the right part. On delivery day they didnt show up after calling the day before to confirm the delivery.
I called them and they could not even apologize but they were just giving an attitude. They called back that they were going to deliver 7 days later. When delivered the part was too big.
- we had multiple appointments with our handyman and had to cancel multiple times because of the wrong delivery of the parts or the parts being damaged.
They never apologised or offered a refund. Its a very useless company. Altough Mario that designed the kitchen with us was very very nice. This is a very insensitive and arrogant company. I will make sure the word will be heard around and nobody will buy from them again.

At first, Jeroen from Breda showed all do’s and don’ts. Gave his honest opinion about my own idea’s and wishes.
At the end we designed a superb kitchen within the limits of space.
I installed it myself, but delivery was very complete. Only some silicone in the right color for connecting the worktop pieces would have been easy.
