On Saturday, I wanted to check the menu and the prices of the meal boxes. Unfortunately, I was required to provide my card details. On Sunday morning, I discovered that money had already been charged from my account, even though I had never clearly confirmed or authorized the transaction. I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the order, but I was told it was too late. I asked several times for the order to be canceled and for a refund, but unfortunately no action was taken.On Monday, I received a box with vegetarian meals that had been selected automatically, not by me. Please do not claim that customers can view everything without registering and providing card details, because this is simply not true. Your customer service was completely unhelpful.

Great when everything is delivered, we get free desserts for life but received none so far, even after ticking them off, veg is at its end of life and sell by dates run out in 3 days so DOESN’T last the week .

When we started I didn’t think I’d carry on with the subscription after the discount period. Wrong. It’s such good value. The meals are great. The variety is exceptional and it means we have variety in our weekly meals. The best thing for me is that I don’t have to do the meal planning and shopping and then all the cooking. I just pick the meals, shopping is done and I enjoy the cooking. The portion size were another worry as I have a man with a big appetite and mine isn’t small! There is usually food left over. No problem with there not being enough. Finally, I like the fact that there is no waste. None at all. If you need parsley you get just enough. You don’t pay £1.50 for parsley half to be thrown or at best thrown in the freezer never to be used. I don’t have to buy a bottle of this or that to stay unused in the cupboard. Perfect! We LOVE Hello Fresh.

The portion sizes are great, easy to follow recipe cards are included. Learned new and quick ways to cook things. Occasionally items are missing and sometimes discount codes don't work

I had pre-ordered my first delivery to come on 11th May 2026 and got a message saying it wasnt going to get delivered that day as there had been an issue. I contacted them via livechat and was assured my box was still going to get delivered that day...but it didnt. A day later and the delivery arrived but the spinach is all mushed (not squashed) and one of the potatoes were completely rotten and the liquid had leaked on to my other potatoes and the recipe cards.

Food is great, great recipe instructions delivery could be better, boxes never arrive within the original time slots given, usually hours after.

Had somebody cold call my home by knocking on my door recently touting for business. I thought this practice had been outlawed. I didnt appreciate it, that is if the person was genuine.

Ordering from this site since 6 months more or less. Products are fresh, add more meals with no potato’s or rice! Was really happy overall, but in last order were missing ingredients, better main ingredients, pork lionsx2 and 21 day aged rump steakx2! Contacted customer service, received 22£ refund which is not sufficient, considering the cost of beef in particular. Basically we paid 45£ for veggies, spices and 1 bag of prawns.

I love meals but sometimes items are missing or have been substituted which is really annoying. Also, it would be much more helpful if the ingredients per meal were all bagged up together. The aim of using HF is mainly to save time and lots of time would be saved if all items were either bagged together or labelled with the meal number.

Not always fresh. Some vegetables delivered were soggy whilst some had started to brown. That was on delivery so definitely not fresh. Would definitely recommend gousto instead

Not as good as it was, short dates and not totally fresh veg. Used to be brilliant but not so much now. Delivery not brilliant either boxes damaged.

Hello Fresh is a fine service, you pay for the raw ingredients, and a little extra for delivery and the convenience of having things organised into recipes fotlr you. For me it is worth the cost, though with the economy being how it is, i get why it's not an option for most people. Most dishes i seem to get are such - a filler base of some form of carbs, and on top, equal parts of meat and vegetables. It is surprising how often a recipe includes sugar or something sweet in it. Good that I can remove it and get a healthier meal. I've been with them for months, and exchanging meal planning time for their service is worth it for me. Food comes on time, and mistakes almost never happen.

Quite expensive.
I often end up missing ordering and lose out on my free dessert which is most annoying.
I’d like to have all the free options selectable together as it’s frustrating wading through meal choices that will cost extra when I don’t want to pay more.
It would be useful to pause deliveries for periods of time as you cannot skip weeks for many weeks at a time. Or able to skip more weeks.

You have to input all your payment details before you can see what recipes are available. I decided that I didn’t really want any of them as a) I could make them easily myself or b) they weren’t suitable as my husband is diabetic. I emptied my cart and thought I’d cancelled but no I have a delivery I don’t want . I tried ringing but I was put through to someone obviously reading from a script . Asked to speak to a manager and was told it would take 48 hours before someone would ring me back ! Totally unacceptable.

Delivery was planned for Sunday and it didn't happen with no notification from HelloFrash team, I only found out when I called them later in the evening trying to understand where the pack was. The delivery was arranged in the end for the following day with a new box, but it still caused disruption and last minute plans.
