Useless. My expectation was to get faster a prescription for eyedrops (antibiotika) than compared to my own GP or private eye clinic. The drops have been prescribed earlier and unfortunately a few chronic conditions and permanent plugs make eyes more sensitive for infections. However after the correspondence back and forth, the last advice is to wash my eyes with mild shampoo. And this happens when I enclose the pictures of professional eye care items available only in pharmacies for chronic blefaritis that I use daily. Lesson learned. Back to a private eye clinic. Saving money is also is paying them to a right specialist.
Edited: 24 hours later a prescription for antibiotic drops was issued by a Danish GP through my private health insurance fully confirming the diagnosis of infection that was obvious. Make conclusions yourself about hejdoktor.dk.

The clinical diagnosis made by the doctor on the basis of the clinical findings and the information you provided (several photos etc.) is clear - your condition did not require antibiotics treatment, and they have acted in full compliance with our medical guidelines and the standard treatment algorithm used in Denmark. Our medical guidelines are 100% aligned with the rules and regulations from the Danish Patient Safety Authorities.

The easiest thing would be to prescribe medication every time one of our patients asked for it, but we are not always allowed to do that. In some cases that results in a 1-star rating even though there is nothing else that we could have done.
We all have a responsibility only to prescribe antibiotics when needed, even though the patients might disagree, as the incidence of multi-resistant bacteria is increasing. Multi-resistant bacteria are bacteria that are resistant to several types of antibiotics, and it can therefore be more difficult to find an effective treatment.

I love this service. Within a few minutes you can be on a video call with a proper doctor. I have used the service twice, and on both occasions I had very sympathetic and experienced doctors who spoke faultless English, were unhurried, and I felt the patient (my child) was the priority. It is a great backup / alternative to 1813 if you want to get a doctors help outside of normal hours for your GP.
