FIVE STARS for fantastic products and service!

We had an awsome router for 4 years that suddenly stop working and we contacted the support. Fast answers and handling of our issue and we got pick a new router since the have 20 years guarantee :D

Best buy i ever done

Best buy i ever done. They replyed and send me new product within 10 minutes.

I had 20 years of warranty they did not ask anything.

Sendt me a new product at once without asking me for bill.

Did not have this where i are now.

I recommend everyone to buy from them where you can.

I will always choose their product over others because of my experience with them.

Had a malfunctioning headset

Had a malfunctioning headset. Contacted Heimgard via mail. Got a response within a few minutes, and confirmation that a replacement is on its way after a short correspondence. Never experienced service at this level before. Truly impressive!

Super fast customer support

Had a problem with slow response on my Wattle door handle and contacted Heimgard customer service using their contact formular.

They responded after few minutes and I passed on a picture of the model and within minutes I got a mail back where they requested my adress so they could ship a new improved handle to me.

Great and super fast service without any problems - I'm really looking forward to install the new handle.

Disappointing door lock (battery life) and customer support

Bought a Wattle door lock last year when we renovated our apartment.
As others have stated, the battery life is extremely short and if you don't recognise the beeping noises (which come when battery is running low) then you can end up being locked out (you do learn after the first 2 times!).
The most disappointing aspect is that they expect you to buy a hub from them and the only support they give for other home hubs (with Zigbee 3.0) is to place a firmware download (with no instructions or advice on how to use it).
I have one of the most common home hubs (Aeotec... aka Samsung Smart things new version) and I am unable to see the door lock even after taking the entire lock off the door and resetting the zigbee chip inside the lock.
Since I purchased the lock 1 year ago, Wattle was renamed to Heimgard (or bought by them) and it feels like the customer service could not care less about whether I can get my lock to function as it is supposed to.
Very disappointed overall. The Yale smart locks are much better (good friend has and also my work office) so definitely go with them instead.

Warning

Do not purchase these locks if you care about quality or do not want to get locked out of your house.

These are the experiences we have with a brand new Wattle smart lock:

Display is light sensitive, meaning that when the sun shines on the outside display, it starts making noise, as if you are keying in a code. It makes this pinging noise that resonates troughout the house. For the same reason the display lights up and drains the battery.

The outer display stops working from time to time, meaning you cant get into the house (!), luckily we have had the key on us to we have managed to get in the house, but the whole point of a smart lock is not to have the key. And if you forget the key you wont be able to get inside.

These faults are knows to Heimgard, something the support department has confirmed.

Unfortunatley we do not have the reciept meaning no returns are accepted.

nevertheless, the problems with these locks persist and if you are in the market for a smart lock, buy something from another brand if you do not want to be left stranded outside of your house.
