Worked with Host1Plus for a few months now. Great service, when I had a question I submitted a ticket for, I had an answer within an hour. Staff is curious and knowledgeable. They also offer a nice range of geographically distributed hosting.

I couldn't figure out this issue on the Ubuntu command line but they solved it pretty quickly, apparently it's just a permissions thing I should have enabled on my customer login. Quick email response tho! Super fast. Great customer service as of 09/2015.

I don't trust small business with my personal identification. After they needed to verify mine I decided to not go ahead and get a refund. I opened a support ticket for the refund and got no reply, as a matter of fact it is now 6 days later and still no reply, 6 DAYS!
I raised a dispute with paypal and they are communicating with me through the paypal dispute telling me to close the dispute "Please close the dispute and communicate with our support department." Really, I already did that and you don't have any support, duh. That's why there is a dispute in the first place.
They continue to justify why they ask for ID failing to understand that I'm not arguing about there requirement for ID but am asking that my account be closed and a refund issued as I personally don't want to provide ID. And may I say to anyone else, I would not send my ID to this company EVER!
I told them I would post their communication as I want others to know how terrible their customer service is, this was their response...
"I'm glad that you will be publishing this information, hoping that other people such as third party readers will hopefully bring you to reason as we were unfortunately not able to do that. Also indirectly for the free advertisement it gains us that we do take abiding to the law seriously."
"We are aware that there are some people (not very reasonable people usually) that will be outraged occasionally."

Not issuing a refund when a client decides they do not feel comfortable providing national ID is taking abiding to the law seriously?
It is clear that an owner is replying as a staff member would be fired for writing in such a demeaning way to a client.
My recommendation... go elsewhere, not worth it no matter the price.
DONT EVEN THINK OF DOING ANYTHING WITH THEM!
I just had the worst experiance of my life. My account got suspended and all of my data was lost. Weeks and weeks of work is flushed to the toiled. Server performance is horrible. 2 second server respond time and lots of crushes that i had to force reboot the server via SSH to get it back online.
SIMPLY HORRIBLE!
Our company purchased a hosting plan there and the plan should be valid till December 2014. However, near the end of October 2014, we received an email notification from the Host1Plus saying that our account was suspended due to reason of "spam". We never do this. As we are so busy so we actually have no time to get access to and touch the site in the past year. We complained to the company and the cpanel login was accessible then. However, we found that one of our website (with database) was damaged. Files on server are modified. Paypal information file are zipped. We suspected that the company has damaged our site and stolen our files and data. We requested the company to restore our site as they have backup. Next day, we received another notification email saying that our account was suspended due to reason of Phishing. We believed that they have damaged our site and stolen the files and data. Refused to restore our site, compensate the cost for building the site (our company hired a programmer to build the site) and refund the hosting fee.
This is really a company which seems to be full of liers and thieves. Looks like stolen your site, damaged your files and even claimed that you violated their terms of service! Totally rubbish! It seems that we paid the hosting fee for them to damage our files and steal our site. Their management still hasn't respond to our company regarding the complaint!
A few days ago, we still received the bill for renewal on the hosting service from the company even though our site is already damaged and the account was suspended and no longer accessible!
I have not in my more than 20 years in IT meet a company that had such an attitude towards its customers. Not a pleasent experience

I was introduced to the Host1plus just 2 months earlier by a friend who also runs a web site with Host1plus. So far everything is as good as I have expected. The speed, disk space, band width allocation and the bill are the exact same amount as Host1plus promised. That means nothing but I can totally trust Host1plus. I have already realized that Host1plus is so concerned about the satisfaction of their customers.
I have been using this hosting company since january. I have also referred them a number of new clients. However I as a freelance hosting consultant I manage hosting for many clients and have used Host1Plus for my client. Over the last 8 month I have bought more than 250 servers and hosted more than 600 domains with Host1plus. With this amount of websites and servers and with more than 50 different clients it is impossible to avoid getting at least a one or two complaints from people that has forgotten that they had subscribed to a newsletter or similar. During this period the correspondance with Host1Plus was good. The total amount of complaint over the 8 month was 0,11 complaint per server per month seen over a year. However from one day to another Host1Plus suspended all my servers and left me with more then 50 clients(including clients running paid webservices to their customers) without any access to their data, which means they cannot even move the sites to another hosting partner. The customer service at Host1Plus has been very arrogant towards me and would not even talk to me on the phone. What makes me even more frustrated is that they keep sending invoices even that the service has been suppended and the servers are closed down.
I am aware that host1plus is working closely with one of the biggest spamfilters in the world SpamHaus and that they even share offices in London and I recognizes that Host1Plus have their right to say no to clients if they dont want to work with them. However I believe that any client have the right to get the data that are theirs and that they have the right to find another hosting provider where they can host their websites. I will recommend each and every one of my clients to give their viewpoint on this matter on this forum and I hope that they will be allowed to if Host1Plus dont give back their data.

Had the "plesure" to use them for a little while, until they unrightfully closed my server, I can only asume that they do this to many of there clients to get there data and either selll it to 3 party og use it them selves. Don´t ever use or trust this company!
