I am a Wisconsin resident

I am a Wisconsin resident. I purchased a new MacBook and wanted to put his ledger account on it. I had purchased Bitcoin (BTC) in 2022 and held it in my ledger wallet. I then went to the Apple App Store and uploaded what I believed to be the Ledger app. The app was a fraudulent platform, com.edger.io, created only months earlier, and redirected me to hedgemacosapp.com. The setup directions instructed me to enter my 12-word seed phrase. Within 16 minutes of entering the seed phrase, my BTC was transferred out of my wallet. Within 3 days of being available on the Apple App Store, the app was removed. The Division determined the funds were transferred outside of the resident’s control, resulting in a total loss. Then the division referred me to Fiscop Advisors, who in turn tracked the BTC to an international exchange, and it eventually led to an arrest
