Excellent service. Ordered a Thermotec neo 9kw. Spoke to Dave on Wednesday night last thing 5pm and asked if it could be delivered Friday. Said this wouldn’t be a problem. Just been delivered as promised.

I bought an Intex pool filter pump from this shop online. When it arrived it was a cheaper version of the one I ordered, (although they said it was an upgraded version). The reviews for the 'upgraded version' were worse than the one I ordered, probably why it was cheaper elsewhere. When I notified them of the error, they replied telling me they only had two of the cheaper ones in stock and that's why they sent me it. So instead of calling me or emailing me to ask if I wanted the cheaper one, they just sent it. When I requested a refund they said I would have to pay postage to return it! Very slow correspondence too. I've given up as this was 3 weeks ago and we wouldn't have had a pool heater through the summer. Sold that one on FB and bought the proper one elsewhere. Really disappointed, as the reviews looked good but I wouldn't recommend taking a chance with them, the way I was treated. Another gentleman called who genuinely seemed disappointed that I had left this review, but I'm afraid it was too, little too late. Would they have tried to resolve the problem, if I hadn't have left this review? Not likely, they had enough time. Disappointing.

I bought 2 thermotec mini air source heat pumps, a 4kw and 5kw, to heat 2 pools. Prior to ordering my other half called for some advice. They were really helpful and seemed very knowledgeable. We set them up as advised and they have been awesome, and surprisingly cheap to run. Customer service has so far been faultless and the heat pumps were dispatched quickly and arrived in good order. Couldn't find the same pumps for cheaper anywhere else. I strongly recommend this company!

I purchased a 24Kw Thermotec Heat pump from them in 2019. Mindful that the product is now 6 years old, it went wrong at the beginning of the season this year. if the machine worked for 50 hours i would be over estimating. I contacted HP4P and although they were pleasant and helpful the upshot is that the main board has gone wrong and shows an F02 connection issue. The advice was to buy a new main board. £1,200 plus delivery and tax (to France). Now this machine was one of the more expensive, currently replacement cost of £4,400. The problem I have is that we are all being advised that Heat Pumps are the way to go. 6 years and £4K replacement isn't reasonable either in costs or reliability. Neither is the costs of both the machine and the spares. There was no way I would be convinced that buying a board or a replacement from HP4P would be good value. An identical spec machine in France is Euros 2000, and a main board for the machine Euros 200. I wouldn't buy a Thermotec machine as they are both overpriced and unreliable due to the costs of spares.

Amazing friendly and human support - put my address in wrong on the order and got the most affable man calling me to fix it, then delivered it next day. A masterclass in how to deliver excellent service.

I purchased a HotSplash Heat pump which failed after 8 weeks. I contacted customer services who knew these had an inherent fault. They sent me the new version which also failed but outside of the warranty period of 2 years. The heat pump had only been used around 15 weeks during this period.

On two separate occasions I emailed customer services asking for advice, could it be repaired? Sadly I received no response so the heat pump went to landfill. Such a shame they have no regard for customers outside of warranty. It costs nothing to reply to an email.

Do not buy a HotSplash heater!

Edit: I have since heard back from the Technical Team after they read my review. I was offered a 10% reduction if I bought a new £1,000 heat pump to compensate. Perhaps the lack of communication was partly my fault for using their online contact form?? Any way, I’ll save myself £140 in electricity each month and will just have a cooler pool heated by the solar cover.

I found customer services team very standoffish. Focused on sales and upselling. Something we bought which carries a large expense they continually lable as a budget line product. I did at one point speak to an amazing guy outside the customer services team who shared his experiences which was extremely helpful.

Great communication, very helpful, would highly recommend. I finally found the right heat pump for my tropical pond. AAA+++ GREAT SERVICE.

So I needed to replace a swimming pool heater.
As a builder, I am by no means a pro in this particular field.
A young gentleman called Dale dealt with my inquiry.
Absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
From Innital advice on what types of systems I should consider and which not to, calculating my requirements as well as sporadic technical support.
Correspondence was almost immediate and advice was always sound.
The unit was delivered to site within a week along with all the ancillary fittings I required for the installation.

Ten minutes after the commission by my electrician the unit was "very quietly" doing the job.
Within 24 hours as predicted, the pool had gone from 17° to 27° and holding.

The unit itself is compact and neat. The connections and touch screen setup are completely idiot proof.

The gentleman who helped us was knowledgeable, helpful and charming. He answered all our questions and gave good advice. We didn’t fell pressured. We are very pleased with the pool heater we bought.
