I’ve tried to cancel this subscription…

I’ve tried to cancel this subscription multiple times - to no avail. It’s impossible to cancel. I’ve had to cancel my debit card in order to finally cancel subscription. Save yourself a lot of hassle. Use some other service.

If I could give zero would be zero

If I could give zero would be zero. Supposed to be able to download and watch offline but if you don’t have a data connection an error message comes up. Customer service is useless. Tells me to update app which o have done a thousand times. Only got this app to watch stuff when I’m at the cottage. Useless app

The interface within the app is good but the constant error message:

I would give zero stars if possible.

I would give zero stars if possible.
Hayu 1) allowed me to run upto 3 different accounts on different devices within my home. Once I had realised this I was told "we will not refund"
2) shows CONSTANTLY listed as "recently added" are most definately not. Well on my TV, my ph app shows different shows entirely.
3) hayu never ever will reimburse or refund even incorrect purchases (for dual accounts etc) or when they were out of service for several days a year or so ago, provided no form of compensation for their subscribers.

The whole thing is run poorly - especially for the amount they charge! $7 per month for their crappy 1 new show a day, and do not include viewing of Kardashians etc because they would rather keep our money for profit than actually give us what we pay for. For this price you can purchase an entire PRIME TV package and almost Foxtel for a dollar or 2 more. Are they really worth it.
*** FOR OZ VIEWERS CHANNEL 75 "bravoTV" now has all of Hayu's shows.. older .. but hey I say save your $7.
Also PLEASE ANYONE TELL ME WHO THE OMBUDSMAN OR WHO TO REGISTER A FORMAL COMPLAINT ABOUT HAYU TO??

Worst app I’ve ever used

Worst app I’ve ever used, never works and makes you sign in every other day. They charged me twice when my account had been cancelled and they told me to go on to the website to get money off my next two months and even that didn’t work. So frustrating

Absolute thieves

Absolute thieves. Cancelled last September. Still got charged, realized and emailed “support “ this passed April. Still getting charged. It is now November- 14 months later. Emailed, they can’t find an account associated with my email. Convenient as I got a cancellation confirmation last September. How come they can’t loose my credit card number? I had to cancel my card. Absolute crooks.

Not worth the trouble

I have only started to subscribe in the last couple of weeks and while they seem to offer a good selection of the reality tv that I like to watch, I am finding it really difficult to use their website. Even something simple like turning on closed captions is next to impossible. If Netflix wasn't so out of options I would not have gone past the 7 day trial with this service.

ALERT! Double billed monthly

I have been double billed monthly from August 2021 to date and requested refunds. The last two payments were refunded and all other requestes have been ignored.
How many other people are double billed.
There was no reason for the double charges, so this is tantamount to fraud. IS IT WIDESPREAD?????
I have reported it to the Gardai and the faceless Hayu people do not wish to be contacted.
I intend to follow up with Apple who are also involved.
On 14 Nov 23 I got a reply claiming that we subscribed twice under two separate emails but only one phone was used so there was no point being charged twice. It seems to me that the second email address was only used because it didnt work using the first one. The double charging was never justified. They referred me back to Apple and the link goes into a loop ending up back in their own site????? I now have their address.

Rubbish Quality

Insane they have the worst reviews literally everywhere with the same problems mentioned that I’ve had for YEARS. Very glitchy and always pausing as if it’s your internet but it’s not, and now they have 30 second adds before each episode is played even though it’s a paid streaming service.
The only reason I’ve kept it is because I get my housewives fix and it’s cheap. (But incredibly frustrating!!!) Clearly this is the case for 99% of their subscribers and they don’t give a crap about getting a dev team in to fix the same bugs that have continued on for YEARS as they make enough from their cheap ongoing subscriptions.
Do better HAYU!
Better yet, we need another streaming service to swoop in with all the reality trashy goodness and take our money.

Hey you! Hayu isn't great.

The Hayu app needs major UX improvement. It's hard to navigate. There are also ads even though it's a paid-for service. You can sign up for a free trial, but be cautious, you will be charged for the entire year if you don't cancel in time. Their customer service is inconsistent. They are less than understanding and robotic. I don't recommend.

Avoid!

After having issues cancelling our subscription we sent out a message and still have not heard anything (its been 5 months and 3 attempts to contact them). Shocking service!! We are very disappointed, and had to cancel our card so they would stop charging us.
