Terrible, employees change every week, zero support. While I was making payments, they contacted me almost daily to collect the money. Their finance department worked perfectly, and I received some support in building my case—even though my case manager changed every week. The moment I finished paying, everyone disappeared. I can't get in touch with absolutely anyone. On the rare occasions I managed to speak with a staff member, she promised to review my case and get back to me, but she soon vanished as well, and now I can't reach anyone.

I still don't know what the outcome of my case will be, but their customer service is terrible, and there are some very arrogant employees who use the Hayman name as if it were a shield against their incompetence.

2 years ago I hired them for my EB2 NIW application. After denial of the file there is nobody responding and they do not refile despite I have contract. This is against the contract.!!!!

My experience with Hayman-Woodward (HW) has been extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable.

I chose this firm despite their fees being more than double the market average, based on very clear promises: a near-perfect approval rate and the assurance that refiles would be handled as needed until approval was achieved. That was the value proposition I paid for.

After multiple attempts, my case remains unapproved—not due to any fault on my side, but because HW has failed to deliver the expected result. I fully complied with every requirement and followed their guidance at all times.

What is most concerning is the lack of consistency and accountability. HW already completed two refiles for my case under the same agreement, which clearly shows that refiles were understood to be part of the service. Now, suddenly, they are changing their position and demanding additional fees to continue.

This directly contradicts what was originally offered. Mr. Volkan himself confirmed that the necessary refiles would be included until approval, and this was a key factor in my decision to move forward with HW. I was also told during meetings that refiling was part of their strategy to improve outcomes.

Based on these representations, I referred three additional clients to HW, who signed under the same understanding.

Now, instead of honoring those commitments, the firm is attempting to apply a “new internal directive” retroactively, which is both unprofessional and unfair. To make matters worse, communication has deteriorated to the point where responses come from an anonymous “financial team,” which reflects a clear lack of transparency and accountability.

Overall, this experience has shown a serious gap between what is promised and what is delivered. Changing terms after the fact, especially after significant fees have been paid, raises serious concerns about professionalism and business ethics.

I would strongly caution anyone considering HW to get every single commitment explicitly defined in writing and to be very careful with verbal assurances, as they may not be honored later.

Do not trust this company. They take all your money, fail to deliver on their promises, abandon you in the middle of the process, and tell you to find another company. They charge prices far above market rates based on false promises and refuse to refund any of your money.

My experience with Hayman-Woodward has been extremely disappointing, and I want to share it so others who are considering their services can make an informed decision.

During the process, I was in contact with people such as Matheus Henrique, Karla Gonzalez, and Luiz Kazeker. At the beginning they seemed attentive and responsive. However, once the process started and the payments were completed, communication became very limited.

Our visa application was eventually denied, and since then it has been very difficult to obtain clear answers or meaningful follow-up. Emails often go unanswered, and there has been little to no guidance about what options we might have moving forward. The overall feeling has been one of abandonment by the company.

When someone hires a firm for such an important immigration process, they expect transparency, guidance, and professional support throughout the journey. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I feel that I invested a significant amount of money, time, and trust in a service that ultimately did not meet my expectations and did not provide the level of support I believed we would receive.

For that reason, I encourage anyone considering this company to carefully research their options, fully understand what services are included, and make sure they know exactly what kind of support they will receive during the process.

My experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing.

They are not professional at all. Initially, they will say very positive things to get your business easily. Once you've paid them, communication becomes scarce, and there is no progress unless you constantly follow up, which is a waste of your money and time. There is high staff turnover; nobody seems to stay for long. My case has been with them for four years, and each case handler only stays for 2-3 months before being replaced by someone new. This has been very frustrating, and I feel it is not worth the investment. They also fail to inform or guide you on any legal matters, even after you have paid thousands of dollars!

I have a process underway and so far I have received all the necessary support from the team, especially from Tatiane Schneider.

Since day one, HW handled my case with professionalism. Even when the case manager that was carrying my case left the company and it was delivered to Carla Oliveira’ hands. I am so grateful for her support and commitment to helping me to complete the process quickly.

I hired Hayman, led by Mr. Leonardo Freitas, to handle my immigration process (EB-2 NIW). The service was sold with a strong marketing appeal, mainly based on the fact that he is a former immigration officer. However, in practice, the experience was completely different.

My petition took more than a year to be filed after I signed the contract. During that time, I faced constant turnover of case managers and attorneys — at least five different professionals throughout the process. None of them truly knew my case, and I had to explain my story over and over again. They rely on extremely generic templates of shamefully poor quality.

The communication is severely lacking: messages take forever to be answered, and when they do respond, the person often has no idea what stage the case is in.

Unfortunately, it was not due to a weak profile or lack of qualifications, but rather their poor work that resulted in two EB-2 NIW denials. In both attempts, we received long and serious RFEs, clearly demonstrating a lack of strategy, organization, and real understanding of my professional background.

Many times, I felt that my case was treated as just another number. There were long periods of inactivity, and I had to repeatedly push for any progress. At one point, I had to confront Mr. Leonardo directly and was brutally humiliated.

After the second denial, they offered to file a new case under the EB-1A category for $32,000 — a price far above what is standard in the market. It is also important to clarify that this company is not a law firm, but a consultancy.

My first case was denied by immigration, and my contract stated we would have another option to submit a new case. But then everything started to slow down, there were changes in case managers, delays in responses, phone calls where no one wanted to explain what was happening, and six months passed and my case still hasn't been submitted to USCIS. I'm still waiting for an update. We paid a lot of money, but when we really need their help, I simply feel like I've been left aside, and that the upfront payment was just for their convenience. It's difficult! Because we're left with our hands tied, and all the money is already in their hands.

Please, find other lawyers. These people don't take your case seriously, and you have to constantly hound them and beg them to communicate with you. Besides, they don't even know what they're doing.

I deeply regret hiring Hayman Woodward. My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. I repeatedly asked for updates and support, but they either ignored me or gave vague excuses. When it became clear they weren’t delivering what they promised, I requested a refund which they refused, despite not providing the service I paid for.

After doing more research, I found out Hayman Woodward victims group. People had similar experiences, and I wish I had seen those warnings earlier. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I will be pursuing every legal option available to recover my money.

Do not trust this company. Until they take your money, they constantly give you empty promises and false hope. After they receive your payment, you can no longer reach them. They have been causing me trouble for 2 years. They said they would refund my money, but they never did. Do not let this company take your money. I will pursue every legal option available until I get my money back.
