Slow shipping, no response

Placed an order on an item that is in stock, with no delivery appointment needed. And have had no updates for more than a week, great service 👌🏻

Customer care and product poor

Extremely disappointed with the hay hee chairs. A expensive bar stool with poor quality welding. Come away on seat causing the person to fall forward. Only five years old and limited use. Aftercare is poor which is not what I would have expected from what a thought was a quality firm.

Worst customer service

We bought the Palissade garden set (table & 6 chairs) via their website that said “0-2 weeks delivery time”. After 2 weeks we still didn’t hear from them so we reached out. Apparently the delivery time was already 8 weeks! When asked how they would compensate, they said they couldn’t do anything. After 8 weeks, we still didn’t receive anything. Eventually it took 10 weeks (!!) before we received it. Their compensation? A tiny tube of paint to repair the set if anything was wrong.. HORRIBLE customer service!

Still no delivery in sight

We really like HAY’s products, but we will never purchase directly again. We ordered an expensive item that the website stated would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. Over 8 weeks later, and they have no estimate of when it will ship or the status of the product. No proactive communication either. We were given an additional 5-week window that they “hope” to meet but no concrete information. We have had similar issues with smaller orders as well— placed the order for an item supposedly in stock, heard nothing, followed up, and found out it actually wasn’t available. Their website does not provide accurate information, and you’ll risk spending your money and never receiving your items or any communication. If you like something, order from a trusted third party website. Do not purchase directly.
