Pension Transfers with Haven FP
I recently Decided to Transfer my pensions Through Haven FP. Connor Tarry was the financial Advisor I Dealt with What I Thought was going to be a Daunting process turned out just the opposite with Connors professional approach it was a pleasure to work with him, I would also like to mention Jade iles for her help and cooperation

Outstanding service by Haven Financial Planning

David Liversidge was the financial advisor who reviewed my financial targets thoroughly and provided me with the best options.

Edward Morris was the mortgage advisor who managed to secure me great residential remortgage for my home which was completed in record time

Grace OMally from Admin support who ensured all relevant document transactions went smooth

I dealt with Junaid Afzal regarding moving and consolidating my pension. I had an initial meeting over a year ago, but it was agreed that it was too soon and market conditions were set to improve. More recently (October 24) we reviewed the position. Junaid took all my details as well as my objectives and risk appetite and put together a detailed bespoke recommendation that meets all my needs and covers my concerns - meetings were all prompt and follow up paperwork was clear and detailed. He was keen for me to speak to Pension wise to ensure I was satisfied that the options were fully explored and discussed. I would recommend Junaid and his team.

Had my annual review with Connor today all funds growing and perforing well, only been dealing with haven for a couple of years and I can honestly say they are a very professional company who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Special mention to callum for the vey informative and useful emails keep up the excellent guys 👍

I approached Haven because my pensions were scattered and I was approaching retirement (66). I had a very specific process in mind that included taking a money transfer and moving my DB into a SIPP. If anyone has been down this route you will know it is not the easiest path!

Haven did all their due diligence on me (which is a legal requirement) and were very clear regarding the pros and the cons. Their approach was professional and comprehensive. The transfer was successful.

Next step was to onshore a QROP. Again, not an easy process because there were many moving parts. Once again, Haven were professional and kept me informed throughout the entirety of the process (which was torturous) but, ultimately, successful.

I dealt, almost, exclusively, with Junaid, who is my IFA and Jade (who is extremely efficient and diligent in the back office).

Junaid worked with me on 3 levels.

1. Ensuring that he listened to what I wanted to do, including the timeline and sequence I wanted to follow and working with me to achieve that

2. Building a good rapport and relationship with me that developed over time built on trust. He remembered non essential facts that helped build the relationship.

3. This was not an easy process and things, inevitably, went wrong. Junaid was honest when they did and worked quickly to remediate the problems to minimise my stress and ensure that there was no financial implications.

I went into this process dreading working with an IFA. However, Junaid made the experience as stress free as possible and I always felt he was working with my best interests at heart.

I contacted Junaid around 18 months ago to undertake a review of multiple pensions from different employers. His analysis was spot on and I moved them some 15 months ago. The process from Junaid and the wider team was very smooth.

We undertake regular reviews and I appreciate Junaid's advice and willingness to take on-board where and in what I am comfortable to invest. I would recommend him. Oh, and I'm pleased to say his recommendations are delivering solid growth!

My husband and I have recently reinvested our live savings with the help of Connor Tarry an independent financial advisor with Haven F.P. I worked with Junaid Afzal over many Zoom meetings to discuss what I could do to simplify my savings after the death of my husband in May. Terrible service

Junaid and Mia have pretty much revised every aspect of my financial planning (or lack of), including pensions and insurance over the last year. Mia reviewed everything and helped me put the right level of protection in place based on circumstance and lifestyle.
My pension was also invested a high risk low value portfolio with a good return chosen based on gut feeling and a low res chart from the providers website . I didn't even understand how risky that was until Junaid did the research and pointed it out. It's now spread properly with a better return and much lower risk, but Junaid also identified an error made by my provider post transfer and fought my corner getting them to back date the difference. I have no doubt I never would have spotted it nor understood that I could ask for restoration.
