Brilliant - fills a massive gap in the market

The pregnancy programme has been absolutely amazing for me - I really struggled to find something for very active women and generic guidance online is full of misinformation. I came across the Hatch 3rd trimester programme and it’s exactly what I needed. I’m now at 37 weeks pregnant and still going strong. Can’t wait for the post-partum programme when the time comes!

Reaches the parts other physios don’t!

Kat is amazingly knowledgeable about the female body, pelvic floor and post- pregnancy and childbirth issues. She has an excellent caring “bedside manner” and a can-do attitude to solving problems. For any woman whose body is letting them down in exercise or everyday life- please don’t hesitate as she can work magic!

High time we had a service like this in Marlborough so thanks Kat for moving here.

Hatch Athletic for athletes becoming Mums

I found Hatch Athletic just after my daughter was born and I was desperately seeking advice/direction on returning to exercise after pregnancy. The standard advice from UK CMO for pregnancy wasn’t specific to someone who did more exercise, including CrossFit intermittently as well as doing sport to a higher level and therefore I had already continued exercising to a much higher level throughout pregnancy. When I stumbled across the Hatch Athletic community on Facebook and contacted Kat directly I was pleasantly surprised by all the work she’d done and that her platform was aimed women in a similar boat. I completed her 12-week postnatal programme from 6-weeks after childbirth and it was exactly what I was looking for. The guidance and support that she provides throughout the programme with her videos and specific workouts were perfect to help me set the foundations to prepare my body for returning to sport/exercise and to give me that hour’s break to focus on myself, which is also so important both mentally and emotionally when you suddenly have a newborn at home. Kat really focuses on recovery as a whole, biopsychosocially, and that to me is what makes her platform stand out and so beneficial to women all around the world. She’s always so approachable as well as encouraging women to ask questions to the community or engage with your chosen “buddy” whilst completing your postnatal recovery journey. I enjoyed it so much that now that I am pregnant for the second time I have signed up to her pregnancy programme and am finding that equally useful. I would highly recommend Hatch Ahtletic to anyone seeking advice on exercising in pregnancy and postnatally to give you reliable and trustworthy advice as well as the added support from the incredible network that she has built. You are smashing it Kat as a Mum, Coach and Owner of Hatch Athletic and thank you for setting this up to empower athletes during this incredible yet completely unknown/frightening at times and life-changing journey that we go through during pregnancy!

I cannot recommend Hatch athletic highly…

I cannot recommend Hatch highly enough!! I used both the pregnancy and postnatal programme both of which gave me confidence that I was doing the best thing for me and my baby. The support from Kat when I had questions was amazing and I the knowledge this course provides is invaluable to any mum to be and new mum. I cannot thank Hatch enough!

Finally a program built for mums!

Currently on the postpartum program and loving every minute! The program is well thought through and you can tell it has been developed by a mumma for mummas out there wanting to get back to doing what they love. It’s easy to follow at home and takes all the guess work out of the postpartum rehab/recovery process. Cannot recommend enough!

Non-Cross-Fitter - loved it!

Not from a cross fit background (more triathlon) but i LOVED Hatch's postpartum program after my second daughter. I loved the gentle build up to strength but also really enjoyed getting my heart rate going, which a lot of PP programs just don't do. It even got me tempted to try cross fit! Felt strong and healthy at the end, even with a significant diastasis. Cannot recommend more highly. Thank you Kat!

Hatch Postpartum Programme

Hatch Postpartum Programme was excellent.
Provided clear structured programming to get me back to both crossfit and weightlifting safely.
Excellent resources and great guidance provided from Kat.

Would highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing the programme.

Fantastic course :)

What a great course! All the info is so valuable, I love my crossfit and this course has enabled me to feel confident, knowledgeable and happy to carry on training. Kat is great and always there to answer a question if you have one!

Highly recommended for CrossFit

If you are a CrossFitter who gets funny looks when you ask a midwife if you can still do kipping toes to bar in the second trimester, Hatch Athletic is for you! The pregnancy course was INVALUABLE to me and I recommend it to everyone I meet! The Facebook group is supportive and responsive and Kat’s lives are also great even if you have to watch them on catch up #mumlife

Best pregnancy and post baby course…

Best pregnancy and post baby course ever! As a physio myself, I only go for the best physio led programmes! Kat's course is extremely detailed, just the right amount of information, easy to follow, not too overwhelming and really empowers and educates women who are pregnant. The post baby rehabilitation course is excellent for women who want to go back into intense exercise safely. I love the way she talks about mental health too, the importance of leaving behind your ego and how this helps with building up gradually. I have recommended it to NHS women's health departments, who approve and love the course, and tell their athletic patients about it.

Best postpartum programme for athletes out there

I've signed up to Hatch Athletic programme after my second pregnancy. Having done CrossFit for some years prior I was keen to properly recover postpartum to enable me to build a solid foundation. I was very impatient at the start, wanting to get into fast & sweaty HIIT style workouts but in retrospect massively appreciate the time and the exercises as they eased me back to control my body, breathing, and help build that solid foundation for some intense training that followed. I also enjoyed its community of strong momma's supporting one another with handy tips and just keeping ourselves honest and belonging.

Now over 2 years after completing the Hatch Athletic postpartum programme I'm still utilising and using some exercises and breath work to help me keep my pelvic floor in check. I can lift heavy, jump and do gymnastics without any worries now. Stronger than ever and that's all thanks to Hatch clever programming. highly recommended to all athletes from all sport backgrounds.

I cannot recommend the postpartum program more!

I completed the Hatch Athletic postpartum program. It was so important to me to return back to CrossFit with the proper rehab and knowledge after having my boy. I know postpartum is forever and I wanted to do a program where I would learn more about my new body but also only return to my sport properly. The program itself was amazing. I was able to do workouts at home if I could not get to the gym. After completing the program I felt confident enough to begin to go to classes and scale as needed but also focus on building strength back while still rehabbing and using the drills/ skills I learned from the program. I have recommended this program to so many friends who have had babies or having babies. I could not recommend it more. It’s so important to really take care of ourselves after having a baby.
