Howard has done a couple of jobs for me recently and I have to say I’m delighted with both of them. First job was sanding, filling and painting some original wooden sash windows - I thought they might be beyond repair, but he did a wonderful job bringing them back to life. Second job was the external paintwork on another property – again, I couldn’t fault his work.

He was quick, efficient and tidy, and kept me informed throughout the work to ensure there were no nasty surprises. He clearly takes pride in the quality of his work and that shows in the end product. I would definitely use him again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.

The one star review the man was not working in the property. He was having a dispute in the road. Maybe he spoke loud because he was deaf.

This person was really aggressive, loud and rude in the street where he was working. Using the road as his office to sort out issues with his car, needlessly disturbing the whole road.
Very unprofessional.

Indeed, you were not working in my property; nor would you ever be invited to be, considering how you conduct yourself when on a work engagement. I would never employ someone that spent the whole time pacing the street aggressively swearing into their phone, unless I wanted that ‘service’.

Wow what can I say that will do Howard's work justice.
What a transformation in our kitchen & dining room, eye for detail is fantastic.
Wouldn't know he had been with no mess left anywhere .
So delighted we chose Howard to complete the work.

Howard has decorated several of our rooms immaculately, as well as the exterior of our building, and now we simply don’t use anyone else for similar jobs. He’s the perfect decorator - he cares about quality just as much as we do, and always achieves a perfect finish. He’s careful, neat and considerate. Not only that, but he makes proactive suggestions that are always right! Beyond decorating, he’s also brilliant at solving tricky property maintenance issues that no-one else seems to be able to solve. He’s cleverly fixed our garden door to prevent rain getting in and fixed our roof guttering with a similar level of inventive genius. Most importantly, Howard stands out from many other tradespeople in his honest and straightforward communication. There’s never any untrustworthy BS from Howard, because he really, really cares about doing a good job and getting well deserved appreciation from clients like us. It’s a remarkable and rare thing - we feel very lucky to have found him!

Howard has completed work for me privately and also for the letting agency I run in Brighton. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him, my only fear is he will get so busy we will have to wait longer! His work is always completed to a high standard, he understands what is required, not only that but offers competitive rates and a good communicator.

So pleased with all the work Howard has just done. He's more than a painter and decorator as he fixes things and puts up all the finishing touches to a room like towel holders, coat racks etc. And comes up with solutions to any DIY problems. Efficient and neat and tidy too. I'm very pleased and would definitely book him again.
