Harvey Norman Ireland - Little Island Reviews 

Yesterday 27.08.2026 I called into Harvey Norman little island to purchase a microwave. The staff were very friendly and helped me with my choice. I decided to purchase a yellow marked clearance microwave at a discount price. After informing the staff member of my choice, I was informed it was the display model I would be purchasing. I gave it a quick look and decided that's fine, I would take it. It was at this moment I was informed there was no box for the item. The microwave was large and heavy, so I asked a staff member to please put it in a box for me, I carried on joke and tell them I'm hardly going to walk out of the store with a microwave in my hand, it would look like I stole it. While the staff member went off to find a suitable box I was instructed to give my name at the counter for payment. I did just that. About 10 minutes later the staff member ( a girl) returned struggling with a poorly sized and badly taped up box. I quickly took it from here as I could see she was struggling, and I can confirm it was heavy and very awkward to carry. I Left the store struggling with the box through the furniture department and into the carpark. Surely a good customer service would have used a trolley or even offered to help with bringing this awkward heavy and poorly wrapped box to the car. I must admit I was quite annoyed by the time I reached my car, and my back was actually quite sore. To top off the experience when I returned home, tried out the microwave and finally sat down, I noticed the discount for the Display model that caused all the hassle with the had not even been taken off the price!!! I have been a loyal supporter of Harvey Norman to date , but I will definitely re-thinking any future purchases

I went to return an item and went to the till… I waiting for 20mins for someone else to come serve and because there was no queuing system people jumped the queue and the cashier didn’t try to help. When I finally got to the desk I was told I had to go over to Sam to make sure the item had not been opened I explain to the cashier I had been queuing for 20mins why couldn’t Sam come to the desk to check the item as I would have to queue up all over again. Was told no and had to go over. So went to Sam told him the story he laughed handed me a leaflet and said here If u wanna make a complaint use this. Took 2 seconds to look at the item and had to go queue again… there is never anyone around to help when you need them they are always looking for a manager for a code and can’t process anything themselves makes the process so slow..

Remalda was so approachable and put us at ease. She was so knowledgeable and demonstrated the sofa bed for us.
We went away to think about it and then came back and found Remalda again and we completed the purchase.
We didn’t feel under any sort of pressure and felt confident and empowered to make the purchase

After a terrible experience at another Harvey Norman store, we decided to give the company another chance, this time at the Little Island store.

David O'Halloran was there to assist us, and the experience couldn't have been more different. He took the time to understand exactly what we needed, asked thoughtful questions, reviewed our list of appliances, and walked us through all the available options based on our requirements. It was a masterclass in customer service, and by the end, I felt confident that I was making a well-informed decision.

David was professional, approachable, impartial, and genuinely focused on helping us find the right products rather than simply making a sale. He completely changed our perception of Harvey Norman. This level of service is something every store should strive to replicate.

A fantastic service from Simon in the little island store cork for helping us pick the right sofa for us and arranging delivery for us when our sofa came in I have always dealt with Harvey Norman for all my electrical appliances and tvs I would highly recommend Harvey Norman

I am a first-time, new home buyer and needed to buy all of my appliances before ever stepping foot in my kitchen. This, paired with the incredible amount of choices I was faced with upon entering the store, had me extremely overwhelmed immediately.

Colin was a master class in customer service. From the moment he spotted us (while attending to someone else), he made us aware he saw us and that he would be with us as soon as possible.

Once he was available, he came straight over and immediately began easing my nerves. He first explained the process of ordering the equipment, storing it until my house was ready, paying only a deposit on the day, and if any changes were required, how they would be accommodated.

He then began bringing me through the appliances one by one, explaining where it's worth putting your money and what can easily be updated later. What features in appliances were important and and what were just preferences. His selling skills were so good that I didn't feel I was being sold to at all. Which for me is huge; I don't like when I feel someone is just pushing a sale. He had my whole kitchen kitted out in less time than it would have taken me to decide between ceramic or induction 😂

To any first-time buyers out there feeling overwhelmed, go see Colin.

I did click and collect, the girls were very good in little island. I also had a question about an other item in the shop they directed me to a guy who would know about the item. He was also very good and answered my questions about the item.

I needed a small drone for work quickly as the event was the next day. I was able to pick up the drone same day in Little Island with no issue.

Even though it took longer than I expect for the product to arrive at the store, the service was great.

Quick and properly handed.

Spent 750 euro on a tv, warehouse staff dragged it out to car on the floor, damaged box, got home and whole tv smashed to bits, refused to collect it and replace it, had to drive back to the shop in the summers heat and get it replaced. Was met at the warehouse by 6 men all telling me its not their fault. Asked for a manager and was told there is no managers in little island store that they are in dublin. No compensation or apology. Disgracefull
