I’ve been bringing my standard poodle boys to the Oldsmar location of Harmony Vet Care for some time now, and it’s always been a positive experience. The clinic itself is modern, spacious, and clearly well-managed, with a large and capable staff that keeps things moving smoothly.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is Dr. Angela Backus.
From the moment she walks into the exam room, Dr. Backus brings an easy warmth and genuine friendliness that immediately puts both pets and humans at ease. She doesn’t just “treat patients” — she connects with them. Her style is refreshingly personal, and she never comes off as that distant, know-it-all vet you’re afraid to question. Instead, she talks with you, not at you, and makes you feel like a trusted partner in your pet’s care.
