HEWI, you’ve sold my items, now pay me (and return what you haven’t sold)

I’ve had a good experience with the company and worked with them for 4 years selling many luxury items. They have been great.

So, it’s a massive disappointment to me to this year that the company seems to have had a complete turnaround. I opted for the VIP services, which as I said has been great until this year. Firstly, my log in dashboard used to display my outstanding balance. This was stopped in May this year, When I questioned this I was told the site was under maintenance. Long maintenance. To date, there is still no balance showing. Second I have been chasing payment since the start of June, the responses I have got are friendly but involve classic delay tactics. ‘Its in the next pay run’. Or ‘that’s strange let me chase accounts’. Three months later there is still no payment and I am getting no response to my emails and messages. etc,

They currently owe me just under £5k. There is no response from any of their accounts, press, or ‘VIP service’ emails, and worse of all they are not getting back to me about returning my unsold items. I am now in a situation where they have my items and are continuing to advertise, despite me having asked for its return, making money for them but neglecting to pay me. This is both theft and fraud.

To any prospective SELLER thinking of using this this site, please don’t. They won’t pay you..

To anyone going through what I am, small claims court is a good next step as much of a pain as it is.

I determined to get back my money and clothes back HEWI.

Staff Treated Poorly, Do not buy from here

Do not buy from or work for this company. Like many customers who have complained about not being paid, I also had serious issues as a member of staff. After leaving, I went unpaid for several weeks and then was left without a payslip and was underpaid £500 for nearly 2 months.

Despite calling, texting, and emailing, my number was eventually blocked by management. I only managed to get my payslip after physically turning up at the office and demanding it.

The office environment itself is extremely unprofessional: late payments, poor communication, and unhygienic conditions. Dogs are allowed to foul indoors, and the toilets and kitchen are left grubby. Management shows little respect for staff, making it a very unpleasant workplace.

I sold my high end Canada Goose jacket…

I sold my high end Canada Goose jacket on this website and still have not received my ayment from them.
I have sent numerous emails, phone calls and they dont anser back.
I finally got a payment from them trough paypall and it showed pending for 2 weeks then it failed payment.
I have lost my jackeet and have received nothing

Unfair with Customers

This Company used to be so good and now it's awful! They withhold payments for no reason, their Customer service is useless and not responding to emails, messages, whatsapp... this is against the law, you have my money, pay me off! I am going to consult the Customer protection people, they need to shut down and stop to promise non existing services.

Stay away

Witholding payment is considered a criminal offense and a form of theft. As with countless other sellers, selling via the HEWI website, I have not received payment or a response to any of my emails or messages. I managed to get through to them via Whatsapp but, it is the standard "payment is with Accounts" story. They ought to be shut down.

HEWI are a con company. Do not use.

If I could give zero stars I would. This company stole my money and my items. It has taken over 9 months just to get some of it back. I have now had to take them to small claims court. I have emails and messages of them lying to me day in and day out. They are a complete con company. DO NOT USE THEM

This company is bound to fail because they are mishandling the customers who
provide them with products to sell for years and dont pay out the proceeds. They are not returning mails or requests and are lying about their duties. İt is a terribly run company, that could only function in the UK, without going bankrupt, where the shine is more important then the reality. Avoid at all costs.

Items not received and no communication

for the 4th time an item purchased has not arrived and I've had no update from the seller or from HEWI when I've chased (multiple times) - it takes a charge back from my card to get my money returned and still no communication from HEWI or the seller - you may ask why it takes multiple let downs! no more for me.

A group of thief,poor customers service I sold my Louis Vuitton men wallet via this group buyer received item on 17july and after 14days return guarantee they hold my money asked them give me my money but everyday a new story and excuse not responding my email not attending my call only a small conversation on WhatsApp very disappointed spoke with one friend of mine who is a lawyer advised me to send them a court notice told already this group via WhatsApp but still not paying me my money now I am moving next step via court small claim procedure advised to everyone please please don’t trust these group they collect money from buyers and hold for no reason

AVOID Selling on HEWI – NO payout received.

I sold a high-value item in June 2025. The buyer promptly confirmed they were happy with the item received — yet HEWI has failed to pay me.
I’ve contacted HEWI more than 10 times via WhatsApp and by email to their payments, customer care, sales, and support teams — but I have received NO response at all.
I’ve now lodged a formal complaint with the British Crown Insolvency Service and will be escalating the matter further to UK Trading Standards and the Small Claims Court.
Reading recent reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only one experiencing this issue.
Please be very careful when using this platform.
Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service.

BEWARE

BEWARE ! I’m a VIP seller. I’ve been dealing with them for a few years and always had to ask for my payment which used to be made. But lately they’ve sold a few of my items and no payment has been made even after chasing it for a few months . I’ve retrieved my remaining items and of course some are damaged and dirty. This has taught me to check reviews before using any company.

I am beyond distressed …

I am beyond distressed with my recent experience with HEWI(hardly ever worn it) I sold a brand new Louis Vuitton bag in May and am still waiting to be paid, having sent numerous messages and emails I have just been fobbed off with ‘This will be escalated to accounts’ what rubbish.
In the past I have sold over £25k worth of luxury goods on their platform which you can imagine how much commission this totalled and never had to chase for money until this year - I feel gutted and angry, I don’t even know if the purchaser received the LV bag!.

Hewi is totally scamm buyer and seller.

Last few years I sold an items on Hewi and got the payment within a week but now 2025 I sold another bag around 600 and guess what, they kept quite for months. I email them but no reply, whatsapp and they say they will look into that but nothing happened.
I think afrer built the reputation they become scammer now and try to get money.
Should everyone team up and sue them? Big or small amount We have to do something, cant just let Harlyeverwornit keep scamming seller and buyer like this.
Never buy or sell with them. Total fraud

Avoid! Avoid! Remove your items - DONT SELL

Avoid. As a seller, I strongly advise staying away from HEWI. Payments are not released according to their own policy — I'm still waiting for funds over 10 days after confirmed delivery.

I’ve been a long-time seller on the platform since 2017 — it used to be excellent. Now? An absolute drama. Customer service keeps telling you that “accounts are working on it,” but nothing happens.

This is unacceptable for a platform handling high-value items. I will be taking legal steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
