We looked at all options for our future, very carefully, when we considered equity release. Chris Brooks was recommended, so we asked him for advise. his honest and obviously experienced comments soon made us aware to the direction we needed. we can say without any doubt that his help was clearly a major help to us.
100% recommended.

I would have given -1 were it possible .
I was called by a man called Mark Avery from Frequent Finance , I am looking for a RIO Mortgage, Mark passed my details to Chris Brooks from Harbour Finance and we arranged a telephone meeting for 10am on Thursday 17th July .
No call came from Chris , instead he left me a voicemail at 1.38pm to say he’d been stuck on a call and would ring me again , or I could call him back .
I did , and he was on another call , sent me a text saying he’d call me as soon as he was free , in an hour or so. I replied that that didn’t work for me so we arranged a new call date and time of today at 2.30pm.
Guess what ? …. No call by 2.50pm !!
I sent Chris a text , asking him to remove my details from his system and I will take my business elsewhere, message back from Chris saying he was on another call which had over run .
Very disrespectful to my mind, we had a confirmed call and he should have set that expectation on his previous call , just says to me that my business is not important to Chris and his company and assumption was made that I have nothing better to do with my time than wait for calls ….. not so .

We found Chris Brooks to be professional and offered good sound advice about ER. This is a very big financial step for my wife and I.
His proposal arrived promptly and was easy to understand.

Helpful advice but wanted £1695 as a fee when I had been offered the same product and advice elsewhere for £995. It pays to shop around !
