IF YOU ARE UK BASED DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

This company has the worst customer service I have experienced. I ordered an expensive wardrobe from Hannun for my child's bedroom. The delivery window for the product arriving has been and gone, and in that time I've not been sent a single update as to where it is and when it might arrive. When you go online, the website sends you round and round in circles, but won't provide a single clear update. I've sent multiple emails and haven't had a single reply to any of them. I appreciate that sometimes things can go wrong on the supplier's end, but what I really don't think is ok is a complete lack of communication about what's happening with my (expensive) order. It's not ok to take people's money, not send their items and then not supply them with an update. If you're looking at one of their items online I would ask yourself how much you really want it and whether or not you could find something similar elsewhere - it's not worth the hassle to buy from them.

I didn’t get my order

I ordered a couch almost three weeks ago and it supposed to be shipped by now, but about a week ago they sent me an email that shipping was delayed, without any specifics about delivery times.

Very disappointing experience!

Let Down By Lack Of Grip On Delivery

I ordered three sets of shelves, and the two that eventually arrived I really like. They look great and are good value. However, their customers and staff are being let down by whoever is in charge of delivery. After more than three weeks of ordering, and countless e-mails (of course you can't reach them by phone), I still don't have the third set, or any information when/if it would be coming at all. Their customer service person has been very pleasant (until they stopped responding), but if they can't get in touch with their delivery partners (GLS and Parcelforce), let alone get them to actually deliver, sympathetic responses only go so far. A shame really.

Thanks for your response, even if it was over 4 months late. Monetary compensation or the eventual delivery of the missing shelves would be more than justified in these circumstances.

Very disappointed

I ordered a framed mirror and I received in very bad conditions. The frame detached from the mirror, the hooks supposed to hold the back of the mirror were all torn off, and the glass of the mirror broken in a corner.
I sent all the pictures for evidence and I was refused the return because I didn't claim it in the first 48 hours!
Plus, in general, very disappointed by the quality and finish of the wood, far below expectations, and colours are different from what seen online.
Such a letdown...

Disappointing Experience

Disappointing Experience – Never Again

I was initially drawn to this brand because their products look fantastic online, but my experience has been anything but. I ordered four items, but only three arrived. Frustratingly, I had to chase the company to find out what happened to the fourth—the Katia mirror. They didn’t bother to contact me about the issue themselves. I was told there were delivery problems, and a replacement would be sent. Over three weeks later, I’m still waiting, with no compensation or proper apology offered for the delay.

Of the three items I did receive, none included assembly instructions. Luckily, I checked their website and found their virtual instructions, which were surprisingly clear—the only positive part of this experience. However, assembling the furniture was another ordeal altogether. The pre-drilled holes were too small, the components didn’t align properly, and the wood was visibly warped. To make matters worse, many of the screws were European-style heads, which made assembly unnecessarily difficult for a UK customer like me.

Overall, the quality of service and products fell far below expectations. I certainly won’t be buying from this company again, and based on other reviews, it seems I’m not alone.

Fast but looks different than on pictures

The process of the order was really easy and fast. Unfortunately the wood frame of the mirror looks a bit different to the pictures. The wood has a lot of black spots and the color of the wood is different to the one in the pictures too.

Unhappy with their product

Unhappy with their product, very nice people handling their service department though. I ordered a mirror from Hannun and received it after 2 months (each time with a different excuse for delay). When I did receive it, I was not home. So after a week when we opened it, it was distorted. Things appear thin in it and its just sad that a 200Euro worth mirror has such poor quality and quality control.

Poor quality and misleading

Bought their children’s table and am really disappointed with the quality and finish. Was hoping to stain it, but it’s just too cheap and porous so tried painting it but again it just looks awful. Total rip off, just glad I held off buying the chairs too as it’s going straight to the dump. Made of plywood so table wobbles and can’t put any pressure on it, otherwise it slips out from underneath my daughter. The unfinished look is just that, there’s really very little you can do to make it look finished!

this company is a complete scam, beware!
After ordering 2 nightstands and a shelf (they arrived but the quality is like embarrassing) we got only the night stands, wrote them an email and they send us a tracking number that was basically a label only created, the tracking stated like that for 3/4 days and eventually they answered us saying that the parcel got lost, they told us they would have shipped another one, guess what? They sent another tracking that since days is showing only label created. We gonna do a charge back with the bank, stay away from this fraud

First, regarding the quality of the nightstands, we are not aware of the issues you mention. It would be very helpful if you could send us photos of the products so that we can review them and offer you an appropriate solution. Our goal is to ensure that all of our customers are completely satisfied with the quality of our products.

Regarding the loss of the shelf, as we previously informed you, the carrier indicated that they had lost traceability of the package. We contacted you immediately to let you know the available options. You accepted the replacement and we promised to send it to you as soon as possible. It is worth mentioning that our products are handmade and require a manufacturing time of 10-15 business days. In your case, we managed to have the shelf ready in just two days.

Our shipments pass through different logistics centers before reaching their final destination, which includes several stages:

Collection of the product at our warehouse: This process can take up to a week.

Shipping to the main logistics platform and destination branches: The product is sent to our main logistics centers and then to the destination branches.
Delivery to the Final Address: Finally, the product is collected by the transport company for distribution and delivery to the final address indicated.
It is important that you do not worry if the tracking of your shipment does not show progress during the "collection of the product at our warehouse to the Logistics Platform" phase. This may be because the product is still pending collection or in initial transit. Once the product is in the third stage, i.e. in “delivery to final address”, you will see the corresponding updates in the tracking. Once your order has been picked up by our transport company, the estimated delivery time for parcel items is 4-5 business days.

Just yesterday, your order has been updated and we have provided you with the GLS tracking link so that you can follow the order at all times. We are pending your case and the delivery. Please reply in the conversation thread we have open with you for any additional clarification.

Assembly was surprisingly easy

Ordering and delivery was flawless. The material is of very good quality. Assembly was surprisingly easy as well. I just could not get the doors perfectly aligned because attaching the door brackets was challenging without a companion. I got it eventually. The entire assembly including breaks was completed in 4 hours.

I have to say I never write reviews .

I have to say I never write reviews .. negative or positive however I feel I need to update my last review on here. HANNUN said in my last review that my order was on its way and will be with me later this week.. as tomorrow is Friday and I’ve still had no tracking or shipment updates what so ever regarding delivery I cannot see it being with me this week. I wouldn’t mind waiting weeks on end for this order if I could just be told a delivery date ! This seems impossible for HANNUN to do, instead I am just sent links for tracking companies that have not updated information and my parcel hasn’t moved for days. So my advice is (to people in the UK ) .. don’t bother .. buy something close to home. I just hope IF IT EVER GETS HERE.. that it’s worth the wait! However long that may be.

I be just received defective product…

I ve just received a defective product . An headboard made by wooden and natural fibers. There are 3 holes in the fibers textures. they told me is because is handmade. But of course are 3 defective holes. they are asking me 28€ for the delivery. Which is crazy because on their website they say “free return ”. So be careful , is not a free return! I can understand on if you change idea about a product, but here we are speaking about a defective product. The return must have free. So be very careful with this vendor. Beautiful product but tricky policy!!!!

These characteristics are not defects, but signs of the authenticity of the craftsmanship and the natural material used. We carefully select the raffia to ensure that only the highest quality fibres are used, maintaining a balance between weave tension to minimise excessive rippling without compromising its natural beauty.

We understand that these characteristics may come as a surprise at first, especially if you were expecting a product with a completely uniform finish. However, we assure you that the aspects you have noticed in your headboard are within the parameters of quality and authenticity that we promote at HANNUN. In fact, these natural ‘imperfections’ are valued by many of our customers as part of the charm and aesthetics of a genuinely handcrafted product.

Awful experience

Poor and unacceptable experience, from logistics to customer service.

I made an order for a mirror and a shelf. Both were a nightmare.
I never received the shelf, it was lost somewhere in transit and then returned to the sender. Customer service doesn't push it with their carrier partner, and oh wait after weeks of waiting I still have to wait for the shelf to arrive at their facilities so they could give me a refund.
- Mirror arrived! And... it was completely shattered. Why??? So they packed *a mirror* in some kind of envelope made of card. That was it. No cushion whatsoever, zero.

You're good with photoshoots and posts on social media but that's it. Customer experience is at the bottom of your priorities.

Updating to answer your question: is this a joke? I complained several times via email and you didn’t care. Now that I come on a public platform you are interested in helping? I do not want any of the items, I can give you my order number just so can look into the thread and order but that’s it. If you guys think a mirror should be sent inside a paper card envelope and that the customer has to wait weeks for a refund because they never received the item, this is not an exception. This is a procedure and you’re clearly doing it wrong.

Delivery disaster

Hannun messed up their delivery management with their courier UPS who have ended up invoicing me for the import taxes. Hannun said they had resolved this with UPS, but UPS are now invoicing me for “late payment charges”. And there was a massive delay with my delivery. If you live in the UK do NOT buy from this company. They have been a nightmare to deal with and now I’m worried about my credit rating.
