The person who accepted the job should not have. I do not believe he ever read the notes. It said a ladder was required. He did not bring one. He had to drill into cinder block, I had to provide constant assistance. He never worked with the equipment ( concrete anchors). It took him longer time than what was expected. He showed up 20 minutes late with no notification. And now the installation must be re-done as it was not installed properly.

The cleaner was 40mins late and didnt call to say he was late. He didn't identify himself. He left dishes in the kitchen, didn't dust and didnt take out the trash and left an hr early. The areas that he did clean, he did a good job. I paid for a deep cleaning so Inwas expecting for atleast all of the dishes to be washed. I didn't realize that until he left. He filled the diswasher and turned it on but the clear containers from the fridge were left on the counter. I knew a little more attention was needed in the kitchen that's why 2 of the bedrooms, he didnt have to clean and the floors would need to be cleaned twice due to dog and red clay.

DO NOT USE THEIR CLEANING SERVICES! Even when the person doesn’t show up you are charged! And when you try to cancel their service you are charged!

The professionals I worked with through Handy were great. However, Handy as a service is terrible. They take a significant amount of the customer's fee. The app is full of technical difficulties. The customer service team is basically useless, and the Help center is full of outdated/ incorrect information (e.g., saying that a Pro's rating cannot be changed after it's been submitted, however, the rating was changed by customer service).
Handy randomly rescheduled my booking twice without providing any type of notification. One time, they even rescheduled the booking to a date that was more than a month away.
After putting my cc info in, I wanted to leave a tip for my pro. However, there's no option to leave a review or a tip for my pro. After contacting customer support, they said I had no payment info even after I sent them screenshots of my cc info being successfully uploaded to the Handy servers.

I hired someone through you to come today. He did an excellent job and I would like to have him again. I went and made him my favorite cleaner. When I try and schedule another appointment, I don't see his name anywhere. The person you keep trying to stick me with is the guy who canceled 2 hours before my appointment the last time. Why can't I just reschedule the guy I had today?

My handy "pro" arrived late, spoke very little English, broke off part of my dry wall, didn't clean after the mess he created and didn't finish either job. Left after under an hour even though I booked 2h. I had to book another service provider while paying for rushed service and clean up. What is worse is their customer service. I paid almost $300 and they offered me $35 credits to future orders, lol. And I had already spent few thousand on other projects so not a new customer. I don't blame the person on the other side. Their customer service is clearly some poor person working under tough conditions under horrible company management. I can live with the bad service, but the refund policy and customer service is making me never book again with these folks.
