Lift was stuck on stairs and no help given
Lift was stuck on stairs, tried to get a servicecall and couldnt fi me in for nearly 2 weeks. When they originally installed lift the should have left some sort of device to bring it down if it gets stuck, they didn’t. The recommended another company called Ableworld, which I contacted , service the dearest there is. SoI paid £150 for a service and 2 new batteries. It worked for 24 hours. Am not criticising the engineer here that came , please note that. So I rung them on Sunday morning as it occurred Saturday night, they wanted £160 to come out and £60 an hour and parts. So didn’t have them. Bear in mind there is a disabled person in house and the other person can hardly get up the stairs because the left is stuck on the bend. Disgusting service , money making from vulnerable people. It is not as if the engineer gets paid that extra charge that one would have to pay
